This place has been around the corner from me, and just today got around to trying it. I wish we had tried it sooner! Great service, delicious food. Really wonderful birria. Very reasonable prices. Authentic. There is a lot of good Mexican food in the area, but this will be our new go-to spot moving forward.
Very authentic food and atmosphere. On a good day their Carnitas Burrito (slow-cooked shredded pork burrito) is to die for. Local kids stop by here for their nachos. If it's nice grab some burritos and walk to the nearby Cedar Street Park and stare at the NYC skyline.
Came to this restaurant for a meal before heading to a planned engagement. Restaurant is well lit and cheerful. TV playing with futbol on. I enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered asada tacos and a tamale and grapefruit Jarritos. Waitress was kind and polite. Order came out with an okay wait time. I unfortunately experience the asada to have been over cooked, the meat was tough. I also had a huge tendon in my tamales. If it supposed to be served that way, it was not my taste. Service...
