If you want a bar that has it all, this is the place to go. The place has plenty of seating and is usually quiet, but they have events from time to time. Old dark wood building and a classic interior. Good food, good beer, great after a long day of work or just to eat.
Food was pretty good. Service was poor. Took a while to get our first visit to the table. We were inside and it wasn’t very busy. We had to find the waitress for our second round of drinks. All the Drinks were weak. She put two drinks on the table and we asked, which was which and she Said she wasn’t sure. They were so weak we couldn’t even tell the difference between vodka and gin. Otherwise it seems like a decent place. I would recommend drinking...
The fish & chips I had were OK, but a little slightly oil soaked. Note: perfectly fried fish and chips is not overly common, and this batch was better than many I've had through the years.
My Guinness was tasty, the atmosphere (we ate outside on their patio) was nice and the service was very good.
