I hardly ever make reviews! But what I just witnessed has me sick….i guess I can deal with the always very over cooked breaded chicken cutlet! But I saw the man who had very greasy hair- poor attitude- take his hands n touch my cutlet before throwing it in fryer!!! This man looks like he hasn’t showered in weeks but even then still WEAR GLOVES!!! Now you took your raw chicken fingers n touched everything else!!! While I’m here the older blonde lady is so unpleasant- how are you in customer service if you’re always miserable!!!

Better off going to g&a. . got ripped off three times there. They also have ripped off others too. Nearly called the better business bureau on them. They lost me and others i know as a coustmer. I was a regular coustmer untill I got ripped off by them. I gave them a star just because there local but I know others that would have not given them a star. But the owner is great .

Today, 12/26/24, at 12:32 pm was my very first time at this establishment. I was in the area and decided to grab a few sandwiches. The cafe is bigger inside than it appears on the outside. It has a decent sized sitting area that was almost full. It seems cozy enough…with the drinks to the right nicely lined against the wall. The cashier was a direct straight line from the door so I went there to pay after grabbing a cold iced tea. She is the reason I’m giving this place a low rating. She was NOT the least bit friendly (unlike the lovely young lady who took my order over the phone-strong spanish accent). Grant it, I was not very talkative-just had a tragic death in the family. However, I’m not in YOUR business to make YOU feel good. Quite the contrary. She didn’t even say thank you as she “air waved” my receipt towards me. I didn’t give her the time of day at that point because 1) if she was an owner, she should be ashamed 2) if she was a manager, she should be ashamed 3) if she was an employee who runs the front of the house, she should be ashamed and 4) her whacked out blonde whatever wig she had on was quite comparitive to her nasty attitude. Sorry Bagel Cafe, you will never get my business again. BUT there’s a great salon in Franklin Lakes I can recommend to your FOH staff. :)

I've ordered here before because they have gluten free bagels. Twice this week, I've ordered a GF sauasge, egg and cheese and cheese was missing. Today, I called. The woman on the phone argued with me insisting it had cheese. Then she hung up on me. Will not be ordering from here again. I'm attaching a picture to show the girl on the phone that there is NO CHEESE.

Horrible … ordered to go. When I got home and sat to eat my omelet was loaded with cheese, asked and repeated NO CHEESE. Toast was burnt, couldn’t eat it. Threw it away. Taylor ham was burnt and 2 dried out thin pieces of Taylor ham. The bagel was not cooked all the way. Will never return.
Closest place to get a gluten free bagel/breakfast sandwich for me. It’s a bit disorganized/hectic when ordering inside - people who already ordered are either usually in the way of the register or standing on the side. Not the biggest issue, but something that could be improved upon if a waiting area or designated pickup area were established.
