Left saying, good to try but won't go back. The lobster roll special was good but the Captain's platter was overcooked and under seasoned at $50. The atmosphere wasn't sure what it wanted to be between casual and fine dining.
Captains Inn has been consistently good even under new ownership. They have the best pecan maple glazed salmon in the area! And the carrot cake? Oh my, just the best desserts to end a great meal.
I haven’t been to Captains Inn since new ownership, after reading some recent reviews didn’t know what to expect. It was fantastic as I had the bacon wrapped scallops and for main course sea bass maybe one of the best meals I ever had and finished off with the carrot cake. Captains Inn didn’t miss a beat !!!!
