New American Restaurants near Lake Como, NJ

“Initially, I searched online for a place that served lobster roll and this place came up, but upon arriving there and browsing the menu, lobster roll was not listed, so perhaps it's only a special on occasion. This place was recommended from our AirBnb host, and the other menu options looked great, so we stayed and had lunch anyway. I enjoyed my Bar A's Brisket Sandwich, which on the menu mentioned came with horseradish sauce and au jus. However, when it came to the table, it did not come with those described condiments, so I had to ask our server for both, and received them quickly with no hassle.
We arrived around 11am and it seems this place has it's regulars. The one positioned directly by the entrance was very quick to offer the four women who walked in some cocktails on his tab. We politely declined the drink and we resumed the rest of our visit without any issues from the other guests. If you like that kind of familiar atmosphere, then I would say they seem open and friendly to anyone who is a visiting patron.
My friend ordered the sliders and said they were the best she's had in her life.
Prices were definitely reasonable.“

“On June 1st we will be living in PP for two years. Last night we discovered a hidden gem! The owner/ chef was extremely pleasant, gracious and talented. Everything was delicious. The Clams appetizer, Caesar salad, lamb chops and limoncello cake were outstanding. The Sesame Ahi Tuna with Zoodles was hands down the best Ahi dish I’ve ever had! Extra bonus for being BYO! Already looking forward to a return visit. Highly recommend!“

It’s Brazilian! My heart is singing! Great coffee, the food is like home cooked. Loved the cheese bread and you can shop here too! Lovely warm people and so helpful! “We had gone to Woodys for years and recently started visiting more frequently. Really enjoy the atmosphere and the food is good. The holiday decor is a whole vibe—the owners and staff really went all out to provide a warm, inviting experience for their customers. We are always greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. I always enjoy the time spent at Woodys, whether with friends or family. The seating options are many as the heated outdoor area is available all year long. “Delivered a boat by water there a fee days ago. The Harbor Master. (I forget his name) was very helpful, friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. Even as a non member he treated me and my partner kindly as we delivered a boat for someone else.“

The coffee was good, and so was the food. The huevos rancheros are a must-try. The breakfast bowl was also wonderful— such a great balance of flavors, all cooked perfectly. The pancakes are fantastic.
All of the food has beautiful presentation and tastes even better.
Our waitress was kind and attentive but seemed a little disoriented, and maybe confused.
This is also a great location— we got outdoor seating on a beautiful morning and it was lovely.
We definitely recommend.“

“Ate here with my family after a day at the beach. We were a loud hungry bunch and the pizza did not disappoint. The pizza was hot and very fresh and the sauce was delicious. It was not greasy and the crust was just the right amount of crunchy. We will definitely be back!! Highly recommend!!!“

“We finally made it into Klein’s and it did not disappoint. We sat outside in the water and enjoyed a delicious meal. The fish was so fresh and the serving sizes were very large. The Ahi bites appetizer was absolutely amazing and the halibut was the not only delicious but quite a large piece of fish. Lastly, the fish tacos were a favorite. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.“
