“Nice size restaurant with a huge bar. Service was good and food was tasty. My only disappointment was warm fries. Hot fries are a must for me and most of the restaurants I've been to are the same. Guess I should get used to it or order a different side. I had a roast beef panninic with carmalized onions,, mushrooms, cheese and horseradish. Delicious! My daughter had a fried chicken taco bowl salad which she enjoyed but couldn't finish it. Good size salad. My son in law had the cheesesteak sub and he couldn't finish it either. Lol. Definitely recommend this restaurant!“

“A great night at 618! The perfect spot for a girls night. Joe N was awesome and gave us great recommendations with a big smile always. Patti was also a great addition and added some laughter to our night. Will definitely be back soon for a date night with the husband!“

“Our server made us feel like he had something better to do. He told us the specials and then went away. When the food arrived the potatoes were not hot and the salmon was not well done as my husband had requested. He never filled my wine glass or my husband s Perrier. At this price I expect more“

“We were just as surprised as were impressed with the quality of our meals, coffee flights, and service. We recommend everyone come here and you will be back bringing your friends and family. Absolutely recommend asking specifically for Diane she was a treat and made the great experience even better. We are full but already looking forward to our next visit.“
“If I had to describe the food I just had at Manera's, it could be done in two words: absolutely outstanding. I've been eyeing up Manera's since they first opened, and replaced the now-gone Famous Dave's BBQ. Having heard nothing but good things about it, and seeing that they had a steak au poivre burger - I knew I needed to give it a shot. Fast forward to today, and a quick lunch trip later, I'm officially hooked. I arrived at 12:00 on a Sunday, with the place absolutely chock full of patrons (they had two parties that had booked the place). Despite this, service was absolutely stellar, our waitress was incredibly attentive and helpful, and the food came out stunningly quickly for being so crowded. My burger came out exactly as I ordered it (medium rare), and I've gotta say, it might be one of the best burgers I've eaten in my life. On par with Pat Lafrieda burgers in terms of meat quality, and the sauce, brie, and char all lived in perfect harmony. I'll be thinking of that burger for weeks to come. Even the fries were perfectly cooked! Decor is a little sparse, which would be the only 'downside' I can think of. Personally, I dine out for food, not ambiance, so this isn't a huge deal to me. All in all, if lunch being THIS good was any indication, I'll certainly be back for dinners in the future. An absolute gem in a town that's full of entirely too many chain food restaurants, and one that I highly suggest folks give a try to. Absolutely top notch!“

“We had an amazing experience dining at Charlie's. The service staff is extremely professional - best we've experienced in years, especially our waiter - wish we caught his name all we know is he's Brazilian, been there for 4 years, and is very proud to work there. Owners: Give that man a Gold Star. Our meal was fantastic. Very good tuna and salmon, cooked exactly as ordered and plated/served beautifully. No shrinkflation here, the portions are generous so lay off the bread basket if you can. The desert, a dark chocolate and choc mousse masterpiece, was the best desert I've had in my 6 decades of living, no exaggeration. We will definitely return to Charlie's!“

“Great Sports Bar. Great Staff and management went there today. Asked if they were showing the Rugby World Cup . Management couldn’t do enough for me. Got the game on Ireland playing Scotland. And a good pint of Guinness. What more could you ask for with the Irish winning highly recommend this place“

“I've eaten at the Rise n Shine on occasion and find it's no frills local hometown vibe inviting. I prefer sitting at the counter old school and watching the traffic go by as I enjoy a delicious omlette. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent.“

“The Shore Spot is always on point. Whether it’s a Greek salad, Nashville Hot Chix Sandwich, or an entree you can’t go wrong. Frank genuinely cares about the food he puts out. If you haven’t tried the “place” at the little league field in Manasquan you are missing out.“

“Ordered take out and was pretty shocked it was $46 for 2 chicken sandwiches. Also I didn’t appreciate a $2 credit card charge fee when you guys forced me to use a credit card or wouldn’t put my order in when I said I was gonna pay cash when picking up. The food was really, really good though. Probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The food was phenomenal and staff was really nice. Just a little miffed on their prices. I will definitely order again but not as frequent“

“We were a group of five. We had the calamari and cheesesteak eggrolls as appys. Both were outstanding. One in our party ordered the French onion soup. Also delicious! Our deserts were very good also. I would highly recommend the jelly donuts! All of our meals were incredibly good. The service was it excellent. Our server, Elle, went above and beyond, while being very friendly and informative about the menu items. Overall, a very memorable meal. Best restaurant we have been to in a long time. We will definitely be back!“

“Amazing food with a hearty selection and very friendly service. It has a cozy inside with a hometown diner feel. It is not a large space and I wouldn’t go with a party larger than 6 if you want to sit together. I only wish I had gone here sooner after moving to the area. Highly recommend to anyone!Vegetarian options: Plenary of options to ask for dishes to have no meat included in themParking: Plenary of open spots on both sides of the restaurant“

“We have driven passed Capsized Cafe many times, without turning in. Talk about missing the boat! We were looking for a fresh take on breakfast, out, and when we did the Google thing...up popped this eatery.Read many of the glowing reviews and headed over to try it for ourselves. Glad we did. Coupled with great food and super pleasant staff, the atmosphere has that 1950s and '60s eclectic shore coolness.Go there! If not today then go soon.“

“Very good dinner last night. Here are my bullet points:- I don’t understand why they have Farm To Table in their name. There is no mention of any locally sourced ingredients on the menu or in the waitress’ presentation. Seems like a marketing thing. Just interesting.- Apps were delish and huge portions. We had the Brussels and Shrimp & Chorizo. TBH, the two of us were pretty full after apps and bread!- For dinner, we had the brick chicken and the scallops. I rarely order chicken at a restaurant, but this was very unique and tasty (and again, big portion). Scallops were perfectly cooked and succulent.- We were too full to have coffee or dessert- Service was good. Although they seemed a bit understaffed, as our waitress seemed to be constantly rushing around.- Prices were a bit higher than expected. But not a deal-breaker. Overall good value ??Catherine’s is definitely a solid addition to the Southern Monmouth / Northern Ocean County dining scene. Check it out!“

“Wonderful meal at Half Moon Point-the food was delicious and served very promptly. The servers were terrific, considering it was a busy Saturday night! As others have said, parking is tricky, and the noise level is well beyond my comfort zone. I would recommend though, and will try it at a potentially quieter time.“

“This is a great place for dinner! The restaurant is so pretty, so clean and the food is delicious! The meatball appetizer is a must try. The pork chop with rice pilaf and the rigatoni bolognese are perfectly portioned, shareable and full of flavor! Never once reached for the salt and pepper.I love the family feel you get the second you walk through the doors. There are photos of the owners and their kids are on the wall and they are all on the floor, serving customers with a smile. You can definitely tell it’s a place filled with love, a passion for food and most importantly, family. Would definitely recommend to anyone!“

“I've lived in Point Pleasant my whole life and nowhere else has ever been as good to me as Klotz's. Every single meal here-- breakfast or lunch, has been so good. Nowhere else has the local lunch counter feel like Klotz's does. And in case you've heard about their famous Myth, yes, it is THAT good. I also adore the patty melt. It's cash only and that's fine by me for how wonderful eating there is!“

“I've had the food from here a couple of times and it's always been great! I especially like the beef ones. I like the guava/cheese and dulce de leche dessert ones too but they're VERY sweet, so if you're not big on sweets don't go for them. I hope they're able to relocate after the mall closes down, I feel bad because they lost their location in Long Branch and now a similar situation is forcing them out of Eatontown. Regardless, I wish them well, the food is delicious and the service is great.“

“We chose to have our rehearsal dinner here and it was the best decision! The wine room was perfect and they had it decorated for Valentine's day which was beautiful. All of our guests are still saying how delicious the food was! Corey was so easy to work with and made sure our night was perfect.“
“The queen of Jersey Shore yacht clubs. Relaxed yet elegant, formal yet friendly, BHYC offers the best tennis/pickle courts, cuisine, and dockage around. Spectacular views of Barnegat Bay from the upper deck makes it a special place to enjoy cocktails especially at sunset. Remember it's private so you need an invitation from a member. “Apple Street Kitchen is a little, neighborhood gem. It’s slightly off the beaten track. After you discover it, I promise you’ll become a fan for life. They are known for using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. They do try to refresh their menu every season. That way it stays current. Check them out if you’re looking for a cute breakfast or lunch place. They also have outdoor seating in their garden area in the warmer months.“

“I would call Origins a hidden gem. What a great surprise the first time we ate there. I had a lobster risotto on special and there was no shortage of lobster that's for sure. It's only the owner and his wife and it is a very small restaurant with maybe 10 tables. Amazing all around so but I recommend that you call first to make a reservation for the weekends. Unit if they don't pick up just leave a message to get back to you for sure.“

“I am so happy to have found such a great place to grab lunch at! They offer so many gluten free options and also understand allergies which is amazing! I work in the area and I was so hungry and wanted something easy. So I went in and got a Greek hummus wrap on GF wrap. It was amazing! I also learned they do catering and all gluten free as well. I can’t wait to go back! The wrap I had was super delicious and fresh. I can’t wait to try more food from here!Dietary restrictions: Gluten and vegan“

“The atmosphere in this cafe is eclectic and comforting, like going back to my childhood and visiting relatives! I was there with a group of friends, and everyone loved their sandwiches. I can say that my BLT was the best I've had in years...if not decades. “My family has been coming here for years but it’s been quite some time since I stopped in. One of the best seafoods spots at the jersey shore. “This is one of our favorites, a jewel on the main drag in Manasquan. Pork roll, egg and cheese on brioche with a side of waffle fries.....c'mon, it doesn't get much better. And this is Jersey, so it's real pork roll and the Pig does it right. If you're looking for something a little more upscale, try the croque madame. It's the best grilled ham and cheese you've ever had, bathed in mornay sauce (known as fancy cheese sauce to the simpler, pork roll folk like me). But if you go that route you may want to share. And the coffee, brought to your table in a thermos, is great. Cool little place, great people and all part of the scene in downtown Manasquan - so you can walk off some of those calories after.“

“We've been looking for a local burger place in the area for takeout and this restaurant was recommended. We were not disappointed. Their burgers are delicious and the onion rings were hot and fresh. My sons don't always finish their burgers but they did this time.“

“This beautifully decorated space is a true gem. Cocktail menu is imaginative and the food wondrous! The menu is not overwhelming large but well curated featuring dishes which change seasonally. Our first visit was for a birthday and four of us were thrilled to be seated at the chef's table. Two of us dined last night and sat at the bar which offers a full menu. So between us we have tasted most appetizers and the halibut, pork, pasta, short rib entrees and cannot think of one thing we would change. It really should be noted that the staff there is among the most pleasant, kind and professional we have ever encountered. The bartender and servers are so informative and friendly and the chef is hands on and ensures the diners are having a very special experience! We are looking forward to our next visit!“
“I ate here but didn't stay here. I don't know if they have lodging or if they had lodging ages ago. Nice pub with a menu better than what you would expect for a pub and tasty. No 5 star restaurant, but when looking for pub food with a TV in view regardless of where you are seated, this is the place.“

“Had my husband's surprise 30th birthday here (we've been several times before - it's one of our favorite spots!) and they were amazing from start to finish. Super easy to book, flexible with the menu, and our serve Kelly was on top of it the whole time. She made everything super easy and was so attentive to our decently sized group. Food was brought out promptly and everyone raved about how good it was. Will continue to come here for dinner and will definitely be on the top of our list for parties in the future!“

“I've been to Metropolitan Cafe many times and each time the overall experience is good. However, I suggest you pay with cash as the service charge free's for credit or debit cards are almost 4% which is pretty heavy. The other thing to know is when ordering cocktails you'll be better off getting straight drinks like scotch on rocks or vodka rocks as the mixed drinks are very light on alcohol. I ordered a Southern Comfort and Sour. The dinking was ice cold sour mix as the liquor was all but not existing. So I had a bad lemon aid for $15 bucks. Needless to say my next drink was Kettle One rocks Even a bad bartender should be able to pour that drink. So if you can get bye watery cocktails and the high service charge it's not bad.“

“I like it here. Went earlier on a Friday night for a drink with some friends. There was a good band that started before we were leaving. Lively, crowded, casual atmosphere. It's a bit cramped around the bar where we sat. The walls are close to it. We liked it anyway. Bathrooms clean. Bar food available. Nice bartenders. A fun place to go! A varied crowd of 20 somethings to 60 somethings. Casual friendly patrons and employees.“
“This Marriott was exceptionally nice and clean. Check-in was a pleasure. The suite rooms were huge! “We stayed here so we could go to Six Flags. Really nice people and great customer service ! The front desk was very accommodating and helpful and the restaurant/ bar personnel were extremely sweet! Not many options to eat but what we had was actually fresh and surprisingly good for a small hotel. Free parking and laundry room were a big plus. Very quiet neighborhood and some weddings were happening while we stayed but I basically heard no noise from guests or was bothered by loud music. Really recommend!“

“We have frequented Woody's for years. However, this experience was not as great as usual. To start our waitress seemed not to like us for some reason. Her demeaner with us was stoic while jovial with other tables. Secondly, they made changes to the menu that I don't care for, like the guacamole on the blackened chicken tacos. Just add Baja sauce. Also, the salad lack today's salad expectations. For one, the dressings are thick and processed. They need to be fresh prepared in house. Also, bring back the old recipe for the drunken clams. It was the best around and we've tried many. It's all there at Woody's for a nice casual meal. It just needs to be rejuvenated.“

“Had dinner there w/ friends. Food & service were great. Very nice decor- open & airy but the noise from people around the bar was deafening. Hard to carry on a conversation without shouting! Not the place to go to have a serious conversation or a date!“
“Ate an early lunch here on a Friday, place was not busy at all. We thoroughly enjoyed the view, the ambiance and the food. My daughter had cheeseburger sliders, my husband had shrimp tacos and I had the fish tacos with some sort of spicy sauce. They were delicious. Minus one star because our very small unsweetened iced teas were $3 each and refills were charged. $15 on unsweetened iced tea was a tough pill to swallow when the plastic cup was overflowing with ice.“

“Went there for repast after a viewing at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home up Adelphia Road. About 30 people attended. Buffet ìncluded mixed salad with dressing on the side, pasta salad, hot crisp rolls and butter, seasoned mixed hot vegetables, roasted potatoes, penne with vodka sauce, chicken francaise, sliced roast pork, dessert, and coffee. Other banquet selections are offered on their website.Used plates were cleared promptly and pitchers of water at the tables were refilled as needed. The meal was held in a private room. There is also the restaurant which has musical entertainment and a banquet hall. Plenty of parking.“
