Absolutely the best diner i have been to in a while. Its a little pricey but the food and attentiveness of the staff was by far the best, he was great with the kids and even gave us a free fruit bowl. The ambiance was classic old school diner with great music playing. Definitely our go to diner from now on, worth the 40 min drive.
Food quality seems to have slipped. I had french onion soup yesterday and i have to say it was the worst i have ever had. Small crock half filled with canned greasy fried onions, like the kind you mix with green beans and mushroom soup at Thanksgiving. There were very few real onions in the broth, small amount of cheese on top, and a very hard piece of bread in the bottom that didn't soften when submerged in the broth. This diner is definitely a favorite stopping place when we are back in our home state! The lobster bisque is not to be missed but only available on the weekend. They had a beef and barley soup, reminded me of home.The server was very friendly. Staff was joyful. ❣️
