I love this little store. They have great kielbasa and they get fresh bread Saturday mornings. They have a lot packed into a small space. The owner is great and always interesting to talk to.
Normally I have a great experience here, but I recently bought a package of cookies and when I tasted them, they were stale. That happens. However, when I looked the package over, I found that the cookies were indeed expired, and there was a sticker attached, marking them on sale, that i had not noticed before. That means that the store knowingly sold expired food rather than throwing it out. Makes me question what else is being sold past its expiration date.
An incredible and moving experience. Thank you to the great lady who gave us some free Polish cheese samples and took the time to talk to us about Polish traditions and other things. We look forward to making our visits to Biedronka Polish Deli a tradition; just a fantastic place and highly recommended!
