I am a Gringo, but kind of an expert with Mexican Food and my Spouse is from Oaxaca, Mexico.
We ate here Sunday,September 07th, 2025, around dinner time; it was our first visit.

El Oaxaqueño | Restaurant & Bakery offers a delightful dining experience with a cozy atmosphere and delicious Mexican flavors. The restaurant is known for its authentic dishes, including Mole Oaxaqueno, Enchiladas de Mole Oaxaqueno con Pollo, chorizo sopes, and birria tacos. Guests appreciate the freshness and exceptional seasoning of the food, particularly the tacos and guacamole, which receive high praise. The portions are generous, and the rice and beans complement the meals well. While the service is attentive, some guests note that the staff may not be overly friendly. The restaurant is BYOB, and parking can be tight. However, it remains a popular spot, especially on event days, and the lively atmosphere adds to the experience. Despite a few cleanliness concerns in the bathroom, the overall dining experience is enjoyable, making it a place many would like to return to.
