Idk ordered a couple kegs from here in the past, I'll get a pint at a bar every once in awhile but now almost $20 for a 4 pack.. No thanks. Also lakewood is an absolute dump. I think ill stop supporting you guys for the new year, you'll have plenty of business from the fanboys.Reply: I have no anger towards you guys at all, I love your beer, there are just so many better options for the price, like I said your fans will give you plenty of business so my choice will never affect you at all. This is a Google review and this is how I feel.

I’ve been here many times with my well behaved dogs and have never had an issue. Today we walk in and stay in the back by the door to read the menu and stay out of anyone’s way while we are deciding. They have outdoor seating where we were planning on sitting but we needed to see the menu to order. Before we could even glance at the menu, the man behind the bar starts waving his finger at me to leave because apparently on Sunday it’s not dog friendly or he’s just a Di-k. If that’s the case I have no issues with rules. I’ve been here many times and love the products they serve but to make us feel like outcasts put a bad taste in our mouths so we left and went to Seven Sons in Howell which was extremely welcoming. The server behind the bar came out to welcome us and our dogs and never made us feel like we were doing anything wrong. If there was a rule change that’s fine and I understand but to wave your finger at me, well you’re just lucky i didn’t break it off.

While traveling for softball, we try to stop by local breweries. While in Jackson, we found Icarus on Yelp! and figured we'd make the trip. So glad we did. Nestled in an industrial park, we spotted the outdoor umbrellas. Coming into the AC was a big relief from the heat and amazing art covers the walls. We were greeted by Jim, the front end manager before we reached the bar. He got us started with a few tasters while he led us on a super detailed tour. He answered our questions and even tapped in Jason for our more technical curiosities. We ventured back to the tasting room for some more libations. They have tasting glasses and 26 beers on tap at any given time and constantly rotating! Would I come back? Absolutely! This one is on the list for sure!

While there are plenty of local brewery choices out there, Icarus is our number one beer destination. The place has a relaxed and hip vibe along with a super friendly staff. There are plenty of delicious beer selections to choose from.My only recommendation: Listen to your customers by bringing back Bang Kitty IPA more often! It is our favorite but is rarely available.

Great spot not too far off the parkway with good beers and friendly staff. Best part was the turntable spinning great tunes throughout the evening. It had a vibe similar to other half's Brooklyn location despite being in the burbs of jersey. Cool seating inside with some large round tables with a cask in the center, and of course brewery style wall seating. Outside was a large area with picnic tables and plenty of space. Split 6 different beers w the wifey and they were all good...just a few clicks down from the major players in the craft scene. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
