While there are plenty of local brewery choices out there, Icarus is our number one beer destination. The place has a relaxed and hip vibe along with a super friendly staff. There are plenty of delicious beer selections to choose from.My only recommendation: Listen to your customers by bringing back Bang Kitty IPA more often! It is our favorite but is rarely available.
Great spot not too far off the parkway with good beers and friendly staff. Best part was the turntable spinning great tunes throughout the evening. It had a vibe similar to other half's Brooklyn location despite being in the burbs of jersey. Cool seating inside with some large round tables with a cask in the center, and of course brewery style wall seating. Outside was a large area with picnic tables and plenty of space. While traveling for softball, we try to stop by local breweries. While in Jackson, we found Icarus on Yelp! and figured we'd make the trip. So glad we did. Nestled in an industrial park, we spotted the outdoor umbrellas. Coming into the AC was a big relief from the heat and amazing art covers the walls.
