We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at The Loft today. The food was excellent and the service was spectacular! I completely lost my voice and could not speak over the past few days. The Hostess and the Manager noticed this and they were very accommodating. The manager gave us a table in a nice isolated area all to ourselves so i wouldn’t have to strain my voice. Luxurious old world elegance , with a touch of modern when you walk into this restaurant, it feels like your in Manhattan at the bottom of a large skyscaper. The lighting is warm , the service is sharp and on the cutting edge with a smile included, and the atmosphere feels celebratory the moment you walk through the door. The Drinks are Creative with a twist and refreshing to the pallete. The craft cocktail list balances bold bourbon blends with bright, fruit-forward mocktails...
Not a bad experience overall, but fans of the Brooklyn location will be disappointed. The space itself is beautiful. Service was decent, but the food felt like a big step down. Portions on the appetizers were noticeably smaller than Brooklyn’s, not ideal if you’re sharing with a group. We were told the chef here puts his own spin on the menu, but sticking closer to the Brooklyn way would serve them better.
