A great hidden gem of a pub. There's no food so go after dinner. It's like an 1800s lodge filled with sea collectibles. There's one pompous bar tender though but I'd still go back.

This spot is a cozy and inviting place for drinks. After walking around town, my husband and I stopped here and absolutely loved it. It does get busy, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. The atmosphere is great, the service was excellent, and the drinks were well made.

Great drinks, nicely off the beaten path from the center of town. They now own the restaurant to right across the courtyard.
We were excited to try this place after hearing about it on the Mercer Bucks Eatery FB page but damn, what a let-down. There was a bartender and 2 servers and all 3 looked absolutely miserable the whole time we were there. We were barely greeted and ignored at the bar after ordering our drinks, despite there only being 6 other people in the place. The decor was tacky, the whole place was just silent and sad. When I asked about the drinks featured on their website, the bartender shrugged and said it’s just a brunch thing (despite the fact that it was advertised for 11-4 Saturday and Sunday and it was 2:30 on a Saturday). We honestly couldn’t wait to leave. Btw, we walked around the corner to a new brewery and it was 100% a much better experience!!

I visited The Boathouse with some friends and was delighted to find that it is a time capsule that embodies old world charm. Besides being a superb hangout, drinks were excellent. And I cannot leave out Andy, host extraordinaire. A 10/10 and will be back with my gifted sunglasses in hand.
