“Everything, EVERYTHING they make is so wonderful. The salads are creative, use lots of seasonal ingredients. The pasta is wonderful. Gnocchi Vodka...OMG. The meatball, braised short ribs, sausage is truly special. We seldom go out but when we go there, the atmosphere and service are great. We mostly order to pickup. Never had a problem. Well worth the extra bucks compared to other Italian restaurants nearby. Go there or order pickup! No disappointment!”

“I visited Jess's Juice Bar yesterday and have been a regular here for awhile. It’s truly the only authentic juice bar I’ve found in the area. They offer a fantastic selection, and everything is always fresh. We tried a green juice, soups, which were clearly homemade and delicious. My daughter had the chocolate banana and peanut butter smoothie, which was creamy and delicious! We also enjoyed a sandwich that was fresh and delicious + GLUTEN FREE! I wish they were closer to us, but we’re more than happy to make the drive to Lambertville for quality food!”

“First of all, without even mentioning the delicious baked goods, Justin & his wife Aastha are so sweet & amazing. Every conversation I’ve had with them could go on forever. Aastha is always so willing to chat & Justin is always down to discuss my current home baking projects.

I’ve been going once every week or every other week for over a year now & felt the need to finally write a review (I don’t review much on here!). Today, I walked into the shop looking for my coveted Almond Croissant (amazing) and there were none to be had—Justin hadn’t made them today because the plain & chocolate were selling well enough to not make any. This man, so wonderful, offered to make me an Almond Croissant. I felt bad, but he insisted & I came back in an hour & an half and he had it waiting for me. Now, THAT is truly caring about your customers. It was just what I needed after a rough week.

Some of my favorite baked goods from the Bakeshop are (obviously) the Almond Croissant, the Country Loaf & Personal Loaf (same dough, different sizes), the Chocolate Chip Cookie (my boyfriend’s favorite) & the Cheddar & Chive Danish.
Notable mention: I tried the Pesto (homemade with walnuts) & Parmesan Babka today for the first time & oh my gosh, so good. Savory with a subtle hint of sweet. I’ve never had a savory babka & I’d been eyeing it up the past few weeks and boy am I glad I made the purchase.

The vibe inside is cozy & rustic. Warmth radiates from the oven(s) & also the decor. Books for children, window seats to people watch, and a big booth to house a small group of people.

All in all, come for the pastries & keep coming back for the customer service.”

“Wow. Blown away. Not only is the ice cream amazing, creative and delicious, the staff today on Saturday 8/8 were so patient, nice, clear, attentive, and informative. It is refreshing.
It's rare to see this level of service right now and coming from the service industries myself, I really appreciate when I recieve amazing customer service on my day off with my hard earned money.
For those visiting, the ice cream case is well lit and clearly marked. The girls were most patient with me and my family about sampling flavors. You get it on a flat wooden stick- reducing plastic waste. And our girl was saying no problem as we tried flavors and tried to decide. She did NOT make me feel dumb for asking questions, but was super polite doing her job. Amazing again in this day and age. We even chatted about unusual flavors and I went with the buttered corn on top of the espresso in a chocolate dipped waffle cone. So delicious if you like sweet and subtlety savory flavors with the buttered corn. When else would I get such a novel flavor. I can only imagine how good the classic flavors are but I like variety. I could even see this enhanced with a sweet cornbread mixed in. The espresso flavor was equally balanced. Not too bitter and not too sweet. The cone was extra yummy to boot.
The dining area has seats and even a low counter where kids can color, special sodas like Boylands, and Joe ice teas (which are a favorite) and I love glass bottles over plastic.
They have a small baked in house section of cookies and brownies, and I grabbed some cookies to go along with coloring sheets in for my daughter. Small single person bathroom was spacious and clean. A freezer case has pints to go and cookie ice cream chip wishes. I need to bring a small cooler bag and some ice packs next time!
I even told the girls about a local Bermudian ice cream flavor from when I used to live there. Grape nut cereal in a vanilla or sweet cream base. Sounds weird but is a hit on the island.

Shout out to Emma, Tyler and Gianna for there 5 star 10 outta 10 service today!!!!

“Mitchell’s Cafe is hands down the coolest place I’ve ever been! It’s an eclectic Irish bar that feels like a literal time capsule. There’s amazing decorations, old TVs playing Hallmark Christmas movies, and an old-school jukebox that randomly comes to life playing classic songs. To top it all off, Carol the bartender is the sweetest lady ever. If you want a unique, nostalgic, and incredibly welcoming vibe, you have to check this place out!”

“If you're looking for a very lovely hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant, Panda Bistro is a very nice secluded lunch destination. There is in-door seating with about 5 seats. The food is a pretty solid B+ which is pretty good for what the restaurant is. Plenty of parking and it's generally pretty quiet in the restaurant.

Parking: They share a parking lot with a CVS, plenty of free parking.”
