“Each year for Thanksgiving we gift Maddalena's Apple Crumble Pie to our clients - everyone loves them and looks forward to them! We always encourage folks to pick up the lobster ravioli, chicken pot pie or the lumberjack chili when stopping by the store - their savory dishes are amazing as well!”
“Serves good Italian food in Flemington on US 202. One can get pizza quickly. Or can also dine in and order from menu. There are also outside seating. Food is delicious. Good service . Higly recommend.”
“Love it here! Service is friendly, great food that comes out in a timely manner - can’t go wrong with whatever you order. Love the classic diner look. Plenty of free parking in the lot. I especially love coming here around the holidays when a local woman makes gifts that have cute mugs and goodies inside - perfect and inexpensive! I still have my snowman mug from a couple years ago!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp for convenience.”
“I stop here for the Cajun fried chicken every time I am in town! It is really quite good chicken, and if you order ahead it’s typically ready by the time you request. I highly recommend getting the fried chicken. Otherwise, it’s a good spot to stop for connivence store/deli foods and the staff get the job done.”
“I recently moved to Lambertville last summer and have gone to the Golden Star Diner a number of times since then with my family, and every time has been nothing short of a wonderful experience. The food and service are both amazing, and the atmosphere both in and outside help to create a very comfortable environment, I always enjoy seeing the sunflowers out front! The wait time is also very good since the building is pretty big. I can personally vouch for everything I have had there so far, last time I went I ordered the cinnamon apple french toast, which admittedly left me tempted to lick the plate! I have also ordered lots of other griddle items for breakfast, like the nutella pancakes and the strawberry/blueberry/banana french toast, which I thought were all incredible. There are also lots of different things on the children's menu, including for breakfast, so I recommend Golden Star 100% for those with kids any time of day. I have only eaten breakfast here so far but I plan to go for lunch/dinner soon too since the pictures I have seen look great!Vegetarian options: Lots of options for breakfast (different kinds of omelets, griddle items) and lunch/dinner (veggie panini, eggplant parm wrap, italian specialties, etc). Definitely plenty to choose from!”
“I love Zoubi's! The proprietor is so great, full of amazing stories, and I always enjoy every minute every time I'm there, which I wish was more often. The food is outstanding, and it's a truly special meal every time!”
“Bistro 55 is a Mediterranean restaurant offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We were there for dinner. Owner Moe was our server and of course knew his menu well. We picked a couple dishes on our own, and, at our request, Moe recommended a couple others. Everything was delicious, portions plentiful, service very good (though surprisingly minimal patronage for a Friday night), and we enjoyed our meal. For appetizers we had Babaganoush, and Three Pyramids - a choice of three of eleven Egyptian spreads. Our mains were Kofta Kebab, and a Gyro Platter. For desert the Baklava was excellent - light, flaky, not overly sugary/sweet as Baklava can sometimes be. Moe's wife (didn't catch her name) makes it from her own recipe. Bistro 55 is BYOB and is definitely worth a visit.”
“What a surprise! I stumbled upon this in Lambertville. The staff was so kind, the atmosphere was beautiful and cozy and the food was delicious! I cannot wait to go back again.”
“This is a cozy intimate venue for couples and adult gatherings. There are a lot of menu delicacies and several wine flights as well as whiskeys to choose from. The food and desserts are all delicious! The staff is friendly and helpful. Nektar is one of the gems of New Hope.”
“Such a Gem of a place. Loved the laid back atmosphere and how you could order at the kiosk as soon as you got there. Comfortable seating and jazz vibes a plenty. I had a Shrimp burger and hubby had the Salmon BLT. 10/10 and I've been told I have a picky palate. The food is fresh, flavors balanced and the proteins are properly cooked ?Hubby and I split a hot dog that had some pickled cabbage stuff on it. Friggn crazy good. Ended up talking to the Chef/Owner Mark and we got a small Ted Talk about food quality and staying true to the original form of the food. You can tell he loves what he does and is passionate about food. Added bonus, hubby and I were talking about how we didn't feel bloated after eating there despite eating "comfort food" , speaks to the quality of where they source their food. Anyhoo, this review is long enough. But I guess I'm passionate about food 2! Give them a try ?”
“Great variety of delicious rolls and apps. Everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful! The Nachos(shrimp) and rice tots were unique and I highly recommend. The Kiss of Death roll was VERY good, although I had the Serranos on the side so I could moderate the spice.”
“Matt’s Red Rooster is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and professionalism from the incredible servers. Dan, in particular, always exceeds expectations with his impeccable service. The farm-to-table concept truly shines here, with each dish bursting with freshness and flavor. Whether it’s seafood or steak, every bite is cooked to perfection. And their bread pudding is always so unique but delicious. We also love their unique grilled romaine salad. I appreciate how they adapt their menus with the seasons, ensuring a fresh culinary experience every visit. Matt’s Red Rooster has quickly become our go-to spot, and we’ve never been disappointed. Highly recommend!”
“The food is wonderful! I had the best Chilean Sea bass, my husband loved the scallops, our friends loved their food too. From the appetizers to dessert the meal was absolutely delicious. The staff is very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. If it is crowded it does get noisy.”
“Dennis and Estella are the nicest people, the atmosphere is cozy yet classy, and the food is Michelin level. Get the mushroom soup if they have it, the tortellini, and any fish entrees. They also make their own orange flour for their mandarin tart which is incredible. Lo recomiendo.”
“Our first time trying this restaurant. Super friendly owner and super clean establishment. Authentic Mexican food.We both ordered La Unica Bowl with cochinita pulled pork. The food itself was extremely fresh and well prepared. However, the pulled pork was EXTREMELY salty. Burn your mouth kind of salty . It was so salty, it affected the enjoyment of the meal. Perhaps this was a mistake. We are willing to try again, but if this amount of salt is the norm, we will not be returning ?”
“Absolutely delicious our food was this was our second time there ann both times pleased with tge food. Our server Mitch was the best so polite kept checking to see if we were ok or needed anything. I asked him for one of their better Red wins he asked if I liked sweet or dryI said dry an he came back with such a really good wine for me he knew the brands well. I later asked for a Diet Coke an he explained they have organic cola a that was soo good too !Couldn’t ask for better service .The only complaint I have was the choice of music Such a classy place but the music was loud an had no class to what was playing sound like rap nonsense it’s such a classy atmosphere the music should be just as classy ?But food absolutely amazing ??”
“As an expat Manhattanite who has been lucky enough to visit some of NYC's finest restaurants, I always tread carefully into what my friends have called a "great" suburban restaurant, as I have been disappointed too many times. Blue Bottle Cafe had the typical Hopewell-Princeton feel, an old home converted into a restaurant with several rooms, adored with a few interesting oil paintings. The first disappointment was a wait staff with no personality, no panache and no class. The hostess/wait person sat us, after some confusion as to where to put us, and then pulled out a pen and asked if we were ready to order or wanted more time, much the way a short order cook would. When we asked for tap water without ice (when will suburban restaurants start doing the smart thing, and simply put down a large carafe of water (NO ICE) on the table, so we don't have to keep asking for refills nor do we have to deal with freezing, too-cold-to sip water?) we were simply ignored. At this point, I was thinking, this is not going to be anything special. But then...the food arrived. My friend and I shared a stupendous Brussels sprouts starter, cold, crunchy and touched off by some white, cream-like sauce that was a slice of heaven. The bread, which I am told comes from a local bread company (also, the bread at a restaurant speaks volumes of both care and quality of owner/chef) was rustic, flavorful and served with already softened butter (a nice touch). My main, crispy scallops, were silky tender and mouth-wateringly tasty. And the chocolate profiteroles for dessert managed to taste decadent and light at the same time. To the owners, I say this: please take the ice out of your water, and find a way to re-train your staff. They do not measure up to the elegance and quality of your food.”
“Off the beaten path which is a good thing. Nice indoor, outdoor and bar seating options. Great menu selections to choose from in an upscale but not stuffy atmosphere. Molto Buono!”
“Tiny place most likely you won't find a seat...it's THAT small and really hard to spot because the sign is small and you think it is part of the BBQ joint next door.Food is fantastic! Just trust me, you'll appreciate it.”
“The boathouse is an excellent place to get drinks before a dinner. There are no food options here. When you go, it gives you “Ivy League” Clubhouse vibes. Not too noisy either so perfect place to carry on a good conversation.”
“WOW. I've never had better omakase, even in NYC. Stellar tasting menu, really great price given how much you get, both in terms of quantity and variety. Lovely ambiance, attentive servers, and the fish is excellent. I had their lunch as well - I was not blown away the way I was with the dinner tasting menu, but it was still really good for the price. Will definitely be coming back as often as I can.”
“This was the perfect vineyard to experience as a first timer! What a beautiful landscape, scenario, and their indoors feels so cozy. Tried out their seasonal wine, all 5 had their own unique taste, all delicious too! While introducing you to their seasonal wines they inform you on how their wine was made. A beautiful experience.”
“Fantastic! Stopped in for a quick meal with my family, my wife and children could not stop saying how their meals were the best version of those staples that they’ve ever had. My lamb shawarma wrap was amazing! Recommend for sure!”
“Long lines but good food, great crispy fries, bottomless ice tea and coffee. Fun times watching planes and gyrocopters, canard pushers and twins, biplanes and taildraggers.”
“A nice small sized café with really good coffee and tea. All brewed on the spot. Coffee beans are fresh, atmosphere is cozy. They have a small merchandise aisle and a nice size bathroom. There is also good Wi-Fi as well as a large table with chairs that you can sort of communal work together with strangers.Large windows with a small Christmas tree that shows people walking by. Right across the street there is a very old bookstore with lots of additions and hard to get vintage books.”
“We used this bakery for our wedding. What drew us to this place was the quality and creativity of their cakes. They were very flexible with doing a take-home cake trial, which they don’t offer, and we greatly appreciate it. The reason why they are getting 4 stars is their lack communication and flexibility for delivering our cake. We had to change the filling last minute on our wedding cake due to no proper storage. I wish they told us the lemon curd needed to refrigerated before choosing it. Also the alternatives they told us was unprofessional. The replacement was good but not what we wanted. If it's a option I would to see how our intended cake was suppose to taste like.”
“I love Chive! My husband and I order from their dinner menu often, but this was my first time dining in for breakfast. The food and service was wonderful. This is definitely our new breakfast spot! Also, they have off-street parking, which is great for Lambertville on a Sunday morning with nice weather.Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.”
“Fantastic food and friendliest service I've encountered in the area. Great for breakfast sandwiches and he also has gourmet sandwiches. I'll keep coming back whenever I'm in the area!”
“Amazing food...amazing staff. The expansion is amazing. There is mthe re room. More tables both inside and out. The food is as great as ever. Try the crab cakes....try the adult grilled cheese...save room for their scratch baked ”
“I recommend the place , the wine so good , nice variety of wines , from too dry to fruity. Nice sandwiches good too lace to visit . So friendly the people at the first floor you can enjoy and share good food and good wines”
