“What a wonderful experience! We chose d'Floret for a special dinner celebrating our 60th birthdays, and it was the perfect ending to an amazing day together. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully prepared, and the entire experience felt intimate and special. You can really tell how much care goes into every dish. We had such a memorable evening and will definitely be back. If you're looking for a truly special dining experience in Lambertville, d'Floret is a gem. Highly recommend!“

“Outstanding friendly service in a vintage hotel dining room with a perfect ambiance. It was Labor Day weekend and the tables were all taken, but the room was surprisingly quiet. flawless service throughout dinner. All three of us found our entrees much to our liking: a perfectly marinated salmon on a bed of spinach, a delicious halibut with carrots, broccoli and whipped potatoes, and a tender guinea hen. Although we felt well fed, we couldn't resist the carrot cake which we split three ways. A relaxing way to spend an evening after a day of family activities.“

“When you find a place that makes you forget everything else, provides a terrific meal with great employees, you have really found gold. Top that with the upper management being supportive and reactive if you need to speak with them and you want to share that with anyone who wants to listen. The leadership addressed an issue with the kind of response that I have not seen in many years. It was refreshing, to say the least. You won't go wrong. From the front desk to the beautiful rooms, the amazing attentive wait staff to the quaint and welcoming bar...do yourself a favor and escape to the Golden Pheasant. Linger and enjoy. Marie F“

“This restaurant by far, excels when it comes to service and we’ve never had a bad meal. A friends steak was not cooked to her liking, so our waitress was informed. They complimented her with a replacement to take home and we were all given free desserts. Can’t say enough about this establishment and our wonderful waitress who made us feel completely satisfied and happy with our experience. Highly recommend and appreciate their attentiveness“

“Wonderful steak. I ordered the filet, medium rare, and let it sit... It was purple right in the middle, so letting it sit was a good idea for a couple minutes bc around that, it was great. I then cut through it like butter. Best steak I've had in 5 years. Fries (ordered instead of gratin) could be crisper. They were served under the steak.
Great quick service. Nice outing with my family including 2 tweens who really liked the food. Thank you.“

“Amwell valley diner employees and owners One and all wish you all a happy thanks giving and all one can eat - now there a lot to say about the diner but sums it up the very best is a old school touch of hospitality and friendly atmosphere go on down the food is upscale and it’s a happy feeling you can relive the yesteryear days when we were younger but who says tradition has to ever stop in closing the home made corn muffins are sooooo delightful take it from a old schooler thru and thru and young at heart always this place is a icon of happy times and conversations ….“

“Very nice anniversary evening at the inn. We had not been there in many years. There have been a few different owners in the recent past but it still feels familiar. Different but familiar which I think is great. My friend is running the place now and seems to have put together a great team and some very nice dishes. Just last week we were texting about the inn and the menu and I mentioned the famous tomato bisque that the inn used to serve. Well not even 10 days later it’s back in the menu, which I think will be a welcome surprise to the local crowd. We are looking forward to returning.“

“We just had an amazing dinner!!! We started out with an amuse-bouche of Scallops that were out of this world. Then we had Octopus and it was so incredibly tender. For dinner we had the Red Snapper and it was cooked to perfection. We ended the evening with dessert and coffee. Well worth the hour drive in each direction. Can't wait to come back.“

“We went for Christmas and had a 5 star experience. The service and food were excellent. Our server Adam was so personable. The atmosphere was the best part. It was warm and cozy, decorated beautifully, and so fun! I even met George Washington after he crossed the Delaware.“

“Absolutely phenomenal. Not sure if it is a hidden gem but everyone should know about it. This is an authentic Italian deli inside of a market!! Our food was so fresh, gourmet, and the ingredients were so high quality. You can tell this man does not take the cheap route and genuinely wants to provide real food to customers. And he was so kind and brought our food to us. Best paninis we’ve ever had!! AMAZING!!!“
