I just ate the most delicious cheesesteak I've had in years courtesy of State Street Kitchen. It was literally perfect. The ingredients were fresh and tasty and there wasn't any possible way it could have been improved. A privilege.
As the gentleman who recommended this place to us said, "A Newtown institution!". We are out-of-towners who came here two days in a row because the food and service were so good. Highly recommended!

State Street Kitchen is a charming restaurant that offers a diverse menu, from traditional breakfast fare to unique Korean dishes. The owner's welcoming presence and the relaxing atmosphere create a cozy, grandma's house-like environment. The food is seriously so good and packed with flavor. The kimchi Philly cheesesteak and the kimchi breakfast bowl are really well done. The teriyaki salmon entree is another great option. The prep time is always super fast and the service is amazing. The owner is so kind and accommodating and really cares about the local community. It is the kind of place that makes you want to come back, with tons of options and is great for kids.
