“It was our 40th anniversary and they treated us really well. The staff was just great from reception to the bar to the table. We really enjoyed the food and the drinks. They sat us in a very comfortable booth that felt private. I have to admit though that I didn't have a great first impression. The valet is $20, a town thing and not the restaurant's fault apparently. Plus it was unseasonably cool outside with few diners on the deck, so the restaurant was crowded and noisy, but there was lots of positive energy. I enthusiastically recommend Stella, it surpassed our expectations in every way. Hopefully next time we can experience the deck and the river view.“
“Such a Gem of a place. Loved the laid back atmosphere and how you could order at the kiosk as soon as you got there. Comfortable seating and jazz vibes a plenty. I had a Shrimp burger and hubby had the Salmon BLT. 10/10 and I've been told I have a picky palate. The food is fresh, flavors balanced and the proteins are properly cooked ?Hubby and I split a hot dog that had some pickled cabbage stuff on it. Friggn crazy good. Ended up talking to the Chef/Owner Mark and we got a small Ted Talk about food quality and staying true to the original form of the food. You can tell he loves what he does and is passionate about food. Added bonus, hubby and I were talking about how we didn't feel bloated after eating there despite eating "comfort food" , speaks to the quality of where they source their food. Anyhoo, this review is long enough. But I guess I'm passionate about food 2! Give them a try ?“
“The long Island ice tea was top notch. The steak, mashed potatoes and green beans were excellent. The wait staff were very accommodating. It was my daughter's birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed her birthday lunch. I highly recommend making a reservation as you won't be disappointed.Kid-friendliness: My 18 month granddaughter was treated like a princess.“
“A modern market with many food and beverage vendors. This last visit was my first time experiencing "New Hope Ferry Market." I personally tried "The Pork Shack." I had "The Figgy Piggy" with the "Garlic Knott Tots" and a side of Broccoli Rabe. The tots and Broccoli Rabe were absolutely delicious! A golden brown crispy outside and not greasey. The garlic pesto and seasoning were not overpowering, and the rabe was not soggy. The pork was very tender. I, however, would ask for more of the fig jam for the wrap if I ordered it again. The bread soaked up most of it, and so the sandwich was a bit bland for my taste. The market itself is handicap friendly. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. It has really nice restroom facilities at the rear of the market. The outdoor seating is dog friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: There are ramps and a good number of handicap friendly seating options.“
“Rice’s is open again for the spring! Go here and be delighted! On a Saturday morning it was plenty busy and full of happy regulars promising to be back. The donuts are small but moist and dense. The menu is a nice mix and they serve coffee as well. The eggs on toast on the milk bread looked insane! My aunt had that and I had a breakfast sandwich. I was really impressed! There’s a few chairs inside but I noticed some picnic tables around the outside of the barn too. Highly recommend!“
“The wings were absolutely amazing. I have never in my life given any food, let alone wings/chicken a 10/10 but it was 100/10. The most tender and juicy chicken wings of my life. The French onion soup was hardy and delicious, with a feeling of home. The pierogies were good, we gave it a rating of 7/10. Overall, the comforting environment and kind host and waiter made the experience all the more better. You will not regret dining here.“
“I got food from the Good Gyro and it's delicious :) Healthy, filling, and absolutely delicious, I loved the food here! The plating is very appealing to me, and the lamb had my mouth watering. My only critique is that the naan/bread that came with this dish was thin and kinda hard to eat. Besides that, this was a great meal. Good service, and the Ferry Market has a nice vibe to it. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.“
“Food was excellent. Great variety of food and drinks. Indoor and outdoor bar have a great vibe. Restaurant was very noisy however we could still still have a conversation at our table. The lights sporadically dim the entire evening. It's actually distracting and unpleasant. This was not the first time. Lastly, we reserved more than twenty-four hours in advance and still had to wait forty-five minutes for our table. Overall it was an amazing evening with great friends, great food and cocktails.“
“We love Martines, the food, drinks and atmosphere right on the river. We have been coming here for years when it was at its old location where Salt House is.We actually ate on the deck which was awesome for mid March. My wife had the soup special of Salmon with corn chowder and scallops over risotto. I had the potato leak soup and the Berkshire porkchop. Everything was amazing. We were stuffed and were ready to pay the check. Then our sever, Erika, knowing that it was our wedding anniversary and that we ate at Martines 33 years ago before getting engaged offered us some complimentary cocktails at the bar. The bartender whipped us up some excellent cocktails.Hopefully, we will celebrate many more anniversaries at Martines. When visiting New Hope put this restaurant on your list.“
“Beautiful restaurant for a romance night or just a quick bite. Service is great, restaurant was well maintained, and bathrooms were clean. Food was OKAY. The only thing I really enjoyed was their fire stone pizza. Everything else I’ve tried tasted kinda bland. Fish tacos, cheese burger, grilled chicken. WHERE’S THE “
“I've been a loyal customer for years. Visiting the establishment frequently. Unfortunately, I just heard that Square One will be no more.,!! I don't know what's coming in place of it, but it will be hard to beat what had already been created there.“
“The sandwiches were a little pricey, but we were pleasantly surprised. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. I was able to switch out french fries for roasted brussels sprouts, which were delicious. And our waiter was very good and accommodating.“
“Classic American fare served walkup counter style. I recommend the Dilly's cheeseburger, fries, and a malt milkshake. Outdoor and covered seating is available. Expect crowds at peak times. It is an easy walk over the bridge from Stockton if parking is difficult. I recommend to walk out on the Delaware bridge for river views, or walk for a short bit south on the PA side of the Delaware canal.“

“I had the pleasure of dining here yesterday for my birthday. I had a 5pm reservation (first ones to arrive for dinner- the room was empty), although; when being seated I was placed tucked away in the corner. It would have been nice to be seated in the middle of the dining room, especially since there were so many other seating options. Other than that, the food was great, and I enjoyed everything I ate/drank. I'd love to dine here again but perhaps I will be seated a little more appropriately next time.“
“My girlfriend and I spent the weekend in new hope, Fran's was probably our favorite place of the entire trip. We both regretted not checking it out sooner, the drinks were great, service was great, food was great. We had broccoli bites which I normally hate but the ones we had at Fran's were EXCELLENT. The atmosphere was cool, bathrooms were nice and clean (the bathrooms at other places in new hope weren't the best). Overall we enjoyed it a lot and the prices were very fair as well we were shocked at how low our tab was. The bartender was SUPER friendly and fun plus she checked on us frequently and was very social and kind to us. we had asked for a surprise shot and she gave us one we both enjoyed greatly (blueberry something?). We were also both eyeing up the pizza the people next to us had the entire time bc it looked and smelled so good. Honestly me personally I'd go back to just go to Fran's to try a full dining and drinks experience. But I was extremely impressed with our night there and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting new hope who wants good drinks, good food and just an over all relaxing good time.“
“Fabulous dining experience, from hostess, waitstaff, runner, and our meal. The restaurant may be a bit pricey for the "average Joe" but the experience is well worth the cost. I highly recommend Earl's for a special occasion.“
“My girlfriend and I ate at Havana over the weekend and both my gf and I enjoyed it a lot. We started with the Mac & cheese balls which were very tasty, then I had the blackened fish tacos she had the blackened Shrimp tacos and omg they were amazing. The pineapple salsa on it was insanely good her shrimp tasted amazing and my fish was excellent as well. They were probably the best fish tacos I've ever had, I'll be thinking about that pineapple salsa for a looooong time. The service was good, the drinks we had were strong but good I meeean who doesn't love a strong drink that also tastes good. It was a bit pricey but we both had entrees, split an appetizer and multiple drinks so it was to be expected. Overall we enjoyed our visit and I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place that isn't typical food you can get anywhere.“
“Went there while visiting New Hope. Food was not only a feast for the eyes but also for the belly. It was all well seasoned, tender, not dry, and the portions were sizable. Both my boyfriend and I enjoyed our meals immensely. The staff was attentive, and we loved the vibe. You have to visit while you are in town.“
“The server was excellent, food was delicious, and atmosphere was pleasant. We had our 3 month old baby with us (1pm) and it was pleasant and not too loud. The portion size on the goat cheese appetizer was very small considering the price (3 balls of fried cheese) and for a brewery the beer selection was limited.Overall it was a great lunch!“
“Decadent, delicious and delightful. Everything was amazing from the wine to the cheese board to the seared pate’ to the tuna poke. The service was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance is very French; eclectic, romantic and sexy. This recently reinvented restaurant is now a must stop in New Hope.“
