A gentleman was delicately preparing oysters that looked delightful and was very welcoming, friendly and joyful. Later we learned that was the chef. Every staff member was kind and accommodating. The food was prompt, yet similar to works of art, and not only did it look beautiful, it tasted extraordinary. I must say, we plan on returning. We also had a cauliflower crust white pizza. Again, very good. The wings were great! Everything came out hot. Our waitress was attentive and friendly and helped us with the menu. “This place is honest to god my my FAVORITE place to eat!!! I've lived in 3 states and this beats anything anywhere! It is my happy place! Every experience is positive from the moment I walk in and the some of the nicest people I've ever met work here and they serve the best food I've ever had. Let's break it down. Shout out to the chef first of all! I would give my right arm to have him or her cook for me personally and maybe a leg! Melony is the nicest human being! From Recommendations to general friendliness to going the extra mile for me on my valentines day dinner she made my entire year!! I'm #obsessed with the popcorn. It's not regular popcorn it's not movie theater popocorn it's truffle popcorn unlike anything you've had before. I swear it's my favorite thing!! Next the black velvet oysters! Best oysters ever! No shell ever no sand just deliciousness!! I'm convinced you could actively try to get shell in your mouth and you wouldn't be able to they are so clean and completely removed from the shell so no fighting for your food! The lamb meatballs are the richest ever! Sooooo good! The boozy hot chocolate clearly made from scratch soooo rich and yummy! The Bleu cheese toast just order 2 per person cause you'll want more! Soo good omg! The spare ribs are to die for as well! The mango honey iced tea tastes like heaven and the chocolate mint sorbet will make you dance even if you try to refuse! This is the one place where I happy dance from food! Another shout out to melony she honestly made me smile and brightened my week. I say a little sweet happy valentines day note on my boxed up goods from her when I got home. And yes they were my breakfast! She made me smile even after I left! 20/10 would reccomend and 20/10 would be friends with melody!! Pictures attached. If you don't try this place you're losing out!“

“For us this is a special night out. I recommend arriving early for time to get a drink at the bar. I have always found the locals hanging out there to be very friendly. There is on olde world indoor eating area with walls of exposed rock, plus a larger more room of more modern construction that has a lighter feel. Both rooms have varying views of the canal and the Delaware river on each side of the property. The tables are well-spaced in both.In warm weather there is also outdoor seating right next to the canal.I prefer the latter when available. Choose the old room for olde world ambience and the newer room for something lighter and spatially more organized. It seems there is always at least one vegetarian main course, which I have always found to be very good. I dimly recall the vegetarian appetizers to be interesting and excellent.Walkability: It is a beautiful walk to this restaurant on the towpath on the PA side of the Delaware River. It is 20-30 minute south of the bridge at Frenchtown NJ.“

“Wait staff and cashier were all top level - a tribute to the owners. Menu was varied and prices appeared to be good values. I ordered a simple dish of poached eggs , sourdough toast and scrapple. Eggs were a tad too well done for 'poached' eggs and scrapple seemed to have no taste. Asked if I was a Vet and thanked me for my service and shook my hand - the hand shake impressed me and was greatly appreciated. Will try again as Im sure the food deficiency was just a 'bad' day. “Cool atmosphere and great menu. We were seated in the back party room which is why I think our service was so incredibly slow. We weren't in a hurry but 2.25 hours is a looooong dinner. Place wasn't even full so there is no excuse for the slow service. Octopus was delicious and so was the striped bass with really good crispy skin. And the garlic infused olive oil that finally came out with our bread was really really good. I had the Bucks County Mule which was also good and my partner had the Blueberry Crisp for dessert which he very quicky devoured. “After reading an article stating Coach's Steaks are listed as one of the 5 best in Bucks County my husband and I went and got one each. We say Coach's steaks is the #1 best. The first bite to the last bite was absolutely scrumptious. The Father and Son duo provided excellent service too. They were kind patient with compassionate customer service. The Dad shared that their steaks are freshly shaved by him daily. Looking forward to getting another. They have amazing toppings too. Thanks Coach for making great steaks and providing excellent service. We were real hungry and the wait time was quick. You guys know what you are doing.“

Breakfast At Coach's Breakfast • $
44 E State St, Doylestown - 8.01 miles

“I've heard a lot about Coach's from some serious cheesesteak fanatics. I've been meaning to try them for months, I happened to be in the area one morning. I was excited when I saw they were open at 10am (but would've waited around if they didn't open until 11am). When I went in I ordered my cheesesteak: Cooper Sharp, with fried onions. As I finished saying that I was told "sorry, let me check something. We're serving breakfast until 11 and usually don't have any steak cut." I said no problem, I'll come back at 11am. They told me "don't worry about it, we'll make it for you". That was pretty impressive because I learned as I waited for my food just how busy these guys were with a ton of takeout orders. I didn't eat in the restaurant but it's definitely an option, plenty of tables in a well lit and clean dining room. I grabbed mine to go and made it to my destination in a ten minutes...the food was still piping hot. Now, I was also able to grab some wings since I heard those were good too. I opted for the Spicy Garlic sauce, which in all honesty is probably just their garlic sauce with some buffalo mixed in. No worries, it had a good flavor and there was no shortage of sauce. My only issue with the wings is the size. I'm sure I am in the minority here but I actually prefer small wings, these things are massive. But at $1 each I'm sure most people appreciate this. Now onto the steak. They use sirloin at Coach's and I honestly am fine with either Sirloin or Ribeye as long as it's not full of gristle and cut right. They also use Liscio's rolls which are some of the best around. The onions were cut the perfect size, some places it looks like Ray Charles does morning prep, not here! Every onion cut uniform and not too large plus they're were cooked perfectly. The cheese was evenly mixed through the meat that was seasoned well. Maybe a little too much pepper but at this point I'm splitting atoms. The cheesesteak was phenomenal, so good that you should absolutely make the trip to visit. There aren't many GOOD cheesesteak spots in this part of Bucks county and calling most of the GOOD is a stretch. Coach's is a GREAT cheesesteak spot and worth every penny!“

“Have been coming here for about a year and have never been disappointed. The Wee Heavy Scotch Ale is a 4.9/5.0, perhaps the best US Scotch Ale I've ever tasted. Great lineup of beers... IPAs, hazy IPA, lagers, stouts, bitters, porters with some imaginative recipes that are instant classics. Terrific food at reasonable prices... pub fare and so much more. The service is terrific, too. Friendly, knowledgeable, they LOVE their work. Two thumbs up for Scott, who served us our last two visits. Finally, the taproom is something out of a movie set. Cozy, intimate, and out of this world. If you live within 100 miles a trip to Geronimos makes the beautiful historic town of Doylestown a must on your bucket list.“
