Chris the hostess was wonderful, as well as the many servers who all willingly supported Gary, the owner, to provide the best service and culinary experience possible for his dinner guests. The menu is one of the best we have seen in the area with many international dishes, some with the labor intensive Indian nuances, and others just with downright phenomenal flavors. Although they have lots of standard fare for the UNadventurous eater, I would suggest you reach past your comfort zone and try some of the appetizers that jump out as potential winners...like the tuna tartare that with just a splash of Japanese Rice wine vinegar would be one of the best I have ever had, as well as the grilled Tandoori shrimp that is marinated in yogurt, ginger, cloves nutmeg, and dried mango; the grilled lamp chops that come with three perfectly grilled meaty garlicky chops that come with mango chutney, and the Haryali chicken Tikka- three huge plump boneless breast of chicken slices that are marinated in mint, yogurt, roasted cloves, green cardamom and star anise, and served with their famous tiger sauce and salsa. We also shared another marinated shredded beef dish special that had three beef croquette-shaped mounds that had such a umami of flavors I can't even replicate it in this review, but we thought it was just great. I would be remiss if I did not mention the creamy, silky crème brûlée that we enjoyed with a glass of Prosecco; a perfect encore to the phenomenal culinary treat we had just experienced with the appetizer medley. Sharing many apps is more fun we think, than committing to one big entree, so we suggest that you dash over to the Pittstown Inn TONIGHT, and tell them Debbie and Gene sent you....ask to meet Gary, the owner, who elegantly floats from table to table, touching each to greet them and to check later on as well to see if everything was to their liking. A true host from days gone by, this owner is the real deal whose passion for the hospitality business emulates from his constant smile from the joy he is getting from making his guests happy. You see that what fuels this man to keep opening his doors from year to year, despite the many hardships and setbacks life has dealt us all over and over, is his love for you, his loyal customer. He is a rare find, so I suggest you go and treat yourself to the real deal in dining. You will not be disappointed, and be sure to ask to meet Gary. He will make your visit complete. “If we could give 10 stars we would! Where to start? As you enter the restaurant you are greeted by beautiful architecture. We were greeted by Noel and she gave us a short introduction to the property. Sitting downstairs near the fireplace was romantic, although it was warm outside! Starting with a complimentary appetizer to open our palette, created especially by the chef. The appetizer my wife had was the tuna tartare, the best she has ever had. Mine was the garden salad and the presentation with pineapple was delicious. Moving on to the main course I had the 30 day dry aged ribeye with a chefs presentation of French fries…I really didn’t need a knife to cut the steak, perfect temperature as ordered. The wife enjoyed cod with black rice. Superb! Unfortunately we were so full from dinner that we did not have room for dessert. Once we left our table we explored the building and the beautiful grounds.
Mario, the owner was circulating through the restaurant and greeted all the patrons. We can not recommend this restaurant and B&B more!! This is definitely our new favorite place!“

I ordered a hot latte and my daughter ordered an Iced latte, both were amazing!!! MUCH BETTER THAN Sta**ucks!!! I ordered the Homemade sausage gravy and biscuits. They were extremely good and would definitely order again.
My daughter ordered the pancakes, very light and fluffy 10 out of 10 as far as pancakes go.
No doubt that I would definitely go back for breakfast again.“

From a photographer's perspective, this place is an absolute gem.The getting ready shots were a dream to capture inside the property. The rooms upstairs provided the perfect amount of natural light, allowing me to create those airy and light portraits that we all adore. Downstairs, the groom's getting ready area ensured that Cassandra and Rafael didn't accidentally catch a glimpse of each other before the ceremony – a thoughtful detail that I greatly appreciated.The ceremony took place outside. Surrounded by rolling hills and trees, this setting offered me a plethora of angles to capture the heartfelt moments. If a countryside wedding is your vision, then this venue should be your top pick.One thing to note, though, is the summer heat and humidity. As a suggestion, if you're considering this property for your big day during the hotter months, I highly recommend scheduling your couple's shoot after 6 pm to take advantage of the cooler temperatures and avoid the harsh sun. I took pictures around 4 pm which was also ok, but golden hour and sunset lighting just hit different.The reception hall is nothing short of perfection.
