“It was our 40th anniversary and they treated us really well. The staff was just great from reception to the bar to the table. We really enjoyed the food and the drinks. They sat us in a very comfortable booth that felt private. I have to admit though that I didn't have a great first impression. The valet is $20, a town thing and not the restaurant's fault apparently. Plus it was unseasonably cool outside with few diners on the deck, so the restaurant was crowded and noisy, but there was lots of positive energy. I enthusiastically recommend Stella, it surpassed our expectations in every way. Hopefully next time we can experience the deck and the river view.“

“We love Martines, the food, drinks and atmosphere right on the river. We have been coming here for years when it was at its old location where Salt House is.We actually ate on the deck which was awesome for mid March. My wife had the soup special of Salmon with corn chowder and scallops over risotto. I had the potato leak soup and the Berkshire porkchop. Everything was amazing. We were stuffed and were ready to pay the check. Then our sever, Erika, knowing that it was our wedding anniversary and that we ate at Martines 33 years ago before getting engaged offered us some complimentary cocktails at the bar. The bartender whipped us up some excellent cocktails.Hopefully, we will celebrate many more anniversaries at Martines. When visiting New Hope put this restaurant on your list.“
“The sandwiches were a little pricey, but we were pleasantly surprised. Everyone enjoyed their dinners. I was able to switch out french fries for roasted brussels sprouts, which were delicious. And our waiter was very good and accommodating.“

“Our local "go-to" eatery. Dined at the bar. Generous and delicious portion of lasagna for me, and calamari and clams casino appetizers for my dining partner. Only disappointment was limited interaction with server and bar staff last night. Used to more socializing with staff on other visits. Overall, a satisfying experience and great meal. We'll be back!“

“I drove past this place after delivering something for work next door. I never saw or heard of the place before, even though I lived in Ewing for school for 4 years and currently work right in Lawrenceville now. The outside atmosphere of the place looked very historical and warm. I decided to look up the menu and thought it looked good, so I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday. Neither of us knew what to expect. When we walked inside, we noticed the restaurant was cozy with a nice bar and a few tables to sit at. The music was playing faintly and was a calm and relaxing place to celebrate her birthday. The food was great too, french onion soup was one of the best I ever had, and our pasta dishes of penne vodka and seafood fra diablo were cooked very well. The waitstaff was great and the whole experience was worth the visit. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.“
“Such a cool little space! Games in just about every room, the drink I had (raspberry tea) tasted good and the pretzels were such a treat. Would recommend for a chill spot and right as we left they were setting up for live music.Vegetarian options: Pretzels, nachos“

“So beautiful! I'm from the hoods of Bushwick NY and the area alone had me without words. The Relic is absolutely amazing. Especially the bartender, Simone, she's AMAZING!! Very attentive, personable, and simply sweet. Her sangria was off the hook and I can make drinks. She made it better than me ? This was my first time here, but it definitely won't be my last.“

“Decadent, delicious and delightful. Everything was amazing from the wine to the cheese board to the seared pate’ to the tuna poke. The service was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. The ambiance is very French; eclectic, romantic and sexy. This recently reinvented restaurant is now a must stop in New Hope.“
