“I love their fast service and delicious food. The coffee and tea station right inside the door is very convenient if you're in a hurry. The desserts are so good - I especially love the coconut rice pudding. The potato salad is my favorite around - fresh herbs and the perfect balance of ingredients! Stop here for a quick wholesome meal.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free and vegan options.“
“I dined here yesterday for the first timeand had shrimp tacos which were very tasty and full of shrimp. The other two people in my I party had french omlettes both said they were delicious as well. Service was quick, atmosphere welcoming, food priced just right. I will definitely frequent again. Thank you Aunt Chubby's!“
“Formerly the Brass Ring, Orlando's is a good wholesome breakfast and lunch eatery (haven't eaten dinner there yet). Their breakfasts are plentiful and their burgers are excellent. I especially like that it's one of the few "old school" eateries that focuses on good fresh food. Mostly basic American dinner-type food.“
“I use every chance I get to stop into Boro Bean! Today I had the Guac Panini- scrambled eggs were fluffy, cheese was delicious, guacamole was FRESH, and the panini was toasted to perfection. It was NOT messy either. They gave a fork and knife also, just in case, which I loved.Coffee was a great brew- strong but not acidic or bitter. So refreshing to have this place!“
“I will be having sweet dreams of this amazingly delicious food experience for days to come. Shout out to mgr Sam for stopping by our table so I could just GUSH about every morsel. Zach the other mgr and I spoke yesterday. Another sweetheart. People please stop reading this review & get there right away for a meal. Then come back here & read the rest of this review & write your own. The appetizers, the entrees, the dessert & don't forget what started this incredible food journey, the bread with that tomato dip! Bravo Brick Farm team. The warm atmosphere that resembled a hug. Every morsel as stated was amazing & not to take away from anything but the truffle Mac & cheese is a MUST!!This girl, her prince and friends are in mad love with your establishment!! Continued success!! Thank you!!“
“Me and my best friend love coming to get half apps to have chats and catch up! We have an absolute wonderful time! We especially had an amazing time thanks to our wonderful server Mani! He was absolutely amazing at his job, really helpful, great personality, has wonderful hospitality! Would 10/10 recommend going and having him as your waiter! I think the best waiter I’ve ever had!!“
“Went Easter Sunday. Table was ready when we got there. Our server 'Alex' - she was the best. Kept an eye on us to see if we needed anything. Food absolutely out of this world Nicely spaced between appetizers and main meal. Gave us time to digest. Absolutely must come here.“
“Matt’s Red Rooster is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth and professionalism from the incredible servers. Dan, in particular, always exceeds expectations with his impeccable service. The farm-to-table concept truly shines here, with each dish bursting with freshness and flavor. Whether it’s seafood or steak, every bite is cooked to perfection. And their bread pudding is always so unique but delicious. We also love their unique grilled romaine salad. I appreciate how they adapt their menus with the seasons, ensuring a fresh culinary experience every visit. Matt’s Red Rooster has quickly become our go-to spot, and we’ve never been disappointed. Highly recommend!“
“This joint was jumping on a Friday at 6:30. We would have been turned away without a reservation. The pork chop scarpariello, short ribs and filet were excellent entrees. This was a birthday celebration, which is why we went a bit high-end. This venue at this time of night might be a bit noisy for some , but no complaints here - just an excellent meal!“
“We came here with a party of eight plus a 7 yr old child. The restaurant was clean and had something on the menu for everyone. The service was amazing. Jason was fantastic as well as the chef and his wife who's the co-owner.The food was flavorful and not over seasoned like what you'd find in chain restaurants. We ordered wings (extra crispy) for appetizers and we ended up ordering some to go-they were very good. The chef (Bishop) came out to say hello and he was so warm and delightful. This is a hidden gem and we'll definitely be coming back again soon!“
“The consistency of excellent food and service is remarkable. We have had numerous meals there and several banquets that were truly outstanding .Very enjoyable experiences and my hat off to Alex the General Manager for checking to see that everyone is happy..“
“I was interested in trying a traditional Philadelphia Cheesesteak....they serve exactly what I was looking for. The meat was good the cheese to meat portion was good, and all melted in there..my only complaint was the serving size was way to big...a half of sandwich was all I could eat..being so large, the price like the sandwich was 2 x too high.. They serve bottled Birch Root beer, which is excellent.“
“Hadn't been there for years. We had a satisfactory experience but not as good as we had hoped. The menu choices were rather limited. My husband's entre was very nice but my salmon dish was lack luster and bland. Herbs and spices were missing. The service was very good and hopefully with the introduction of some more interesting entrees, we would be more enthusiastic about Acacia. We definitely will try them again.“
“Not sure why I waited so long to try this place but glad I finally got around to it. Warning: make reservations or be prepared to wait on the weekends. We arrived an hour before our reservation and enjoyed some drinks at the bar. Speaking of, be prepared to stand in a rather small, crowded space. But drinks help you forget about that. I tried the grapefruit cocktail and they certainly didn't water that drink down. Next up, the main event! We started with the pork belly fries which were tasty and perfect for sharing. I got the burger with short rib which was delicious. The service was fairly quick and friendly; honestly I was shocked they didn't rush us out considering it was nearing closing time. I'd return to try more burgers but I'd prefer lunch or a weekday since parking here is very limited with barely any street parking in sight.“
“Had a wonderful birthday dinner with the family downstairs in the wine room! Waiter's recs were spot on - everything was delicious. Especially the mussels, Brussels, flounder, and coconut dessert. Cocktails were okay. Looking forward to next time!“
“This. Places. Is fabulous ! Really good. The food. And service is top notch ! I love hing thing. About or his gem hubby got filetop mignon wiith Gorgonzola cheese iii had the stuffed chicken breast. Own/...prosciutto d propped wwith tomato cream sauce Deli hb. Our newnfav place“
“First I would like to acknowledge our waiter, Joshua B. He was such a pleasure and so attentive and personable. The recommendations were great and his personality was an experience in itself. The manager was also amazing and my only regret was not getting his name. Now let’s get into the food…EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING prepared was delicious. The tuna tartare and lobster bites were my absolute favorite apps. The entrees were phenomenal. I have the surf and turf and my wife had the cowboy with the lobster and cherry pepper topping and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lovely and the drinks ESPECIALLY THE POMEGRANATE SPRITZ and Pomegranate Sangria …AMAZING !“
“Great local place with large selection of draft beers, home style cooked meals, and great appetizers. From the Soprano Sandwich to the scratch made Chicken Pot Pie, you can’t go wrong here. This used to be a legendary dive known as the Neshanic Inn that closed prior to Covid, only to be reopened as Riverside about five years ago. Its menu has evolved since then and I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve had there since. The owners are hard working people that strive to offer a down to earth, yet quality vibe.“
“Excellent experience. My wife and I went there as a belated Valentine's day treat for ourselves and did the 17 course tasting menu. We also sprung for the wine pairing. I think 16/17 dishes were excellent and there was only one that was "just ok". Wine pairing was excellent and pours were generous. My only advice would be to pace yourself, don't need to eat and drink everything! A little expensive but worth it for what you get.“
“We were out of towners stuck during Thanksgiving and stopped in here for lunch and a drink. We sat out back on the patio enjoying the view of the river til we got too cold. First of all - this might have been the best chicken pot pie I’ve had, and I’ve had a few. Secondly, everyone who worked there was beyond hospitable and so great. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back in New Jersey but if I am I’m B-lining it here to eat another pot pie ?“
“In Princeton for a weekend visit with friends who moved here recently and they took us to their favorite spot! It did NOT disappoint! We ate so much food!! We had lychee martinis which were ok (too limey and not enough lychee) but the food was amazing so it made up for it! They had a little bit of everything! So whatever you feel like eating, they probably have it! Or if your in a group and you all can't agree on what type of food to get, this is a good compromise: pizza, nachos, wings, sushi, burgers, salads, they literally had everything!!“
“I've stopped in here a few times with my partner and teen for breakfast. It's a simple little place for breakfast or lunch doesn't try to add a lot of frills. The place is typically busy whenever we've gone, which I don't prefer, but is indicative of the quality in this case. While my partner has only ever ordered the fish and chips, I try something new more often than not. Everything from the above mentioned fish and chips, to the burgers, to the eggs, to their chicken and waffles have all been delicious so far, and I look forward to slowly exploring the rest of the menu.“
“We were seated immediately while a world class piano player played lovely classical melodies. The restaurant was nearly full but didn't feel crowded. The bar was popular and was full. The energy level felt when walking in was positive but not overwhelming or rowdy. Suggest eating in the more formal dinning rooms if you don't want to be near the piano. We had a great meal/service with old friends. A+ for the dining and restaurant experience. Food was fresh and came out in a reasonable time. The server(s) were on point, warm, engaging, and sincere. They hustled but not in a way that was harried or pressed. The bussers kept our water glasses full and were lovely. If you are conscious of history and period architecture, the structure is impressive: built in 1811, the walls are thick stone, the large wood beams in the more formal dining rooms are impressive; the fire place made the dining room especially comfortable and accented the historic, warm tones in the room. We had the special soup (Tomato Bisque); vegetable spring rolls; and duck ravioli. Main courses: Fettuccini, Grilled Beef Tenderloin Medallions; and a Cheeseburger. For dessert, a delicious Warm Peanut Butter Brownie with vanilla ice cream.“
“Witherspoon Grill was amazing. We were greeted by our server within seconds of sitting down. He took excellent care of us, from talking about the daily specials to ensuring our drinks were topped off. The food was simply amazing. I had the fresh caught cod with a lemon beurre blanc sauce and the house salad. 10/10 will hopefully be back soon!“
“Nice bar, their vodka martini was perfect. They have a decent selection of specialty cocktails, and everyone enjoyed the drinks. The bar area is comfortable, the patio looks like a perfect place to hang when the weather turns nice. I heard the food was good, looking forward to going back. Service is good, easy parking in the back.“
“Food was great, we went here because it was close by an event venue and was open late on Sunday night. It is a tavern atmosphere, at least at dinner time, so be aware the music is somewhat loud and not 100% family friendly. But otherwise it's a good place with good “
“Great food and great service. We had the Flos filet 6 oz, baby back ribs, and French onion soup. Everything was delicious and prepared expertly. We especially liked the ribs.We unfortunately thought the boneless pork chops were too dry and said that to the waiter. He apologized and took it off our bill.“
“This is my second visit to The Dinky Bar and Grill in Princeton which offers great views of the campus. We were going to see a play at McCarter and it is so convenient being across the street. The Dinky has an intimate vibe. Being the original Train Depot the feel of the place is still a train depot which I love. The menu is limited but certainly enough to choose from. There are shareable plates as well full entrees. Very good food and drinks. Our server Kayla was amazing. She needs to be recognized because she was extraordinary. A very busy place pre theater but Kayla never stopped smiling Great experience all around. Will definitely be going again.“
“This is my town diner and every time we go there, the experience is great.2024.01: I just came here for an omelet, but decided to get the Jersey eggs Benedict. Essentially the Canadian bacon is swapped out for Pork roll.It was fantastic: salty, tangy and creamy. It was cooked perfectly, and at my table less than 5 minutes.I was impressed.“
“I drove past this place after delivering something for work next door. I never saw or heard of the place before, even though I lived in Ewing for school for 4 years and currently work right in Lawrenceville now. The outside atmosphere of the place looked very historical and warm. I decided to look up the menu and thought it looked good, so I brought my girlfriend here for her birthday. Neither of us knew what to expect. When we walked inside, we noticed the restaurant was cozy with a nice bar and a few tables to sit at. The music was playing faintly and was a calm and relaxing place to celebrate her birthday. The food was great too, french onion soup was one of the best I ever had, and our pasta dishes of penne vodka and seafood fra diablo were cooked very well. The waitstaff was great and the whole experience was worth the visit. Would definitely come back and recommend to others.“
“One of our “go to” restaurants/bars. Mistral offers a unique blend of American cuisine infused with a touch of ethnic flavors. I also appreciate the changes in their menus based on seasonal abundance. My favorites are the chicken wings, salmon bites and grilled kale salad. The bar area is one of my favorite local hangouts.“
“It's great to see a local hotdog spot in general, but one with such dedication to our first responders and armed services is even better. The staff is warm and kind and the food is incredible. If you're looking for quality, this is the spot!“
“Bagels are great!!! We had an everything with lox, onions, capers, and tomato. A lot of seasoning on the bagel which is a must. The slight crunch on the bagel was great. Edward the owner suggest not toasting it because it already has a nice crust. If you like toasted, go for it, it won’t make it too crunchy. We also had a sesame with the cherry pepper cream cheese; such a good idea for the cream cheese perfectly spicy with the sweetness of the cream cheese. Amazing, check them out. Will come back to check out their breakfast sandwich.“
“Love it here! Service is friendly, great food that comes out in a timely manner - can’t go wrong with whatever you order. Love the classic diner look. Plenty of free parking in the lot. I especially love coming here around the holidays when a local woman makes gifts that have cute mugs and goodies inside - perfect and inexpensive! I still have my snowman mug from a couple years ago!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp for convenience.“
“The very best in pizza, subs, the only place i trust to make me a good meatball without that nasty under taste you get from most restaurant meatballs.Family owned and operated, been coming here since I was a kid. I moved away some 10 years ago and somehow the brothers remember me when I stop by which is whenever i'm in town. I love th“
“As busy as a golf course gets, and rightfully so. This is probably one of the most fun yet challenging courses we have played so far, with hazards a plenty yet nothing that some thoughtful planning and good shot selection can’t get you though. As an added bonus- the carts are electric, and the ice cold water refill statins as every other hole are also much appreciated! Oh, and they have a driving range to boot“
“Had brunch here with friends. Very cute place, and the food and drinks were tasty. The server was nice as well. Main reason for not 5 stars is that the tables are small (so takes some shuffling of plates if in a group) and are so close you overhear the conversations of every table around you, and they hear yours. Not ideal for a gossipy girl brunch or flirty dates, but otherwise we really enjoyed the experience. Would eat here again for sure - I had the scallops and they were perfectly seasoned and cooked just right.“
“An old Flemington school coffee shop reopened August 2023. Went for breakfast, delicious! Mel was my server, she was spot on with her service, I sat at the counter. It's way way better than the diner across town for breakfast. They are now serving dinner, Thursday, Friday, Saturday! Come on in and give them a try, it's delicious and reasonably priced!Vegetarian options: A vegetarian would find plenty to eat here!Dietary restrictions: They will make it any way you like!Parking: Lots of free parking, right next door to staples!Kid-friendliness: Kids will find lots of options here!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in, easy out, bathroom night be tight.“
“We really like the turning point. Their menu is unique with different meals you do not see in other restaurants. The food is always good, the service is always excellent and wait staff is completely pleasant and helpful. I like that I can substitute potatoes with fresh greens and their fantastic dressing.Dietary restrictions: Because I’m a diabetic, I look for meals that do not spike my sugar. I can usually find a great meal here that is not full of carbs.“
“No-frills pub with a menu of classic American food & drinks + both bar and table sections I had a great experience when I came here with my GF and my friend. All of our food was delicious and the service was great. The portions were very large as well.“
“This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. A short walk away from Princeton University and all of the shopping of downtown. The heated floors in the bathroom were a huge plus for this southerner. The beds were extremely comfortable, as well as the pillows. The continental breakfast was delicious, especially the blueberry muffins. While this is a boutique hotel, the prices are fairly reasonable. I would recommend staying here if you're in the area.Walkability: Located half a mile from Princeton University and downtown Princeton.Noteworthy details: Heated floors in the bathroom were a wonderful touch.“
“I hadn't been there in a long time. We were seated right away and our order taken when we were ready. A wide variety for appetizers and main courses. Warning... I asked for a bowl of the tomato basil thinking it would be a little bigger than the cup. I was wrong... It was a lot bigger (which is a good thing). The food arrived in a timely fashion exactly how it was ordered and very good. Serving size was decent enough that everyone took something home (I think the soup did me in). Anyway, I highly recommend going there with the family or just for two.“
“We go here regularly and happy with the experience and food. The beef barbacoa nachos are the bomb and specials are usually very good. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu really. We've had Jackson as a server last couple of visits and he's fantastic. Pleasant, responsive and attentive. Highly recommend a visit.Dine in: Yes“
“Had a fantastic time at this location! Haven’t been here in over 10 years and it still holds up! My grandmother tried Chicago deep dish for the first time and she loved it!Great food, atmosphere and staff! Request Gabby! She’s the best! You can watch the full review here ⬇️https://youtu.be/2XXz1CVatNo?si=DtfDY008Zodrl3rz“
“It's a kickback relaxed atmosphere. Very attentive service. Food is superherb. It was a packed house when I was there for dinner. Surf and turf steak was a little bit more cooked. My server came back with a perfect medium rare!I've read a few of these comments ,with people having issues with their quantity or quality of their food. They said they were TIRED, or didn't want to BOTHER with the issue.Well, that's on you Sparky! When you bring the issue up to your food server, and they do nothing, then there is an ISSUE!Now back in Arizona, will be back with friends! Thanks, Nicky & Bonnie!!! ??????@unclematin7711“
“Very pleasant experience. High quality food and good service. The atmosphere was very elegant for a diner. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table since it was a busy weekend time, but they took my number and called me when the table was ready, which was very much appreciated. Would gladly go back.“
“I recently moved to Lambertville last summer and have gone to the Golden Star Diner a number of times since then with my family, and every time has been nothing short of a wonderful experience. The food and service are both amazing, and the atmosphere both in and outside help to create a very comfortable environment, I always enjoy seeing the sunflowers out front! The wait time is also very good since the building is pretty big. I can personally vouch for everything I have had there so far, last time I went I ordered the cinnamon apple french toast, which admittedly left me tempted to lick the plate! I have also ordered lots of other griddle items for breakfast, like the nutella pancakes and the strawberry/blueberry/banana french toast, which I thought were all incredible. There are also lots of different things on the children's menu, including for breakfast, so I recommend Golden Star 100% for those with kids any time of day. I have only eaten breakfast here so far but I plan to go for lunch/dinner soon too since the pictures I have seen look great!Vegetarian options: Lots of options for breakfast (different kinds of omelets, griddle items) and lunch/dinner (veggie panini, eggplant parm wrap, italian specialties, etc). Definitely plenty to choose from!“
“Genuinely my favorite breakfast sandwich ever! Get a bacon egg and cheese w/ salsa verde & avocado... it's a game changer. Also, the Santa Fe chicken sandwich w/ chipotle mayo is incredible. Their souvlaki-style chicken is to die for. Great service every time! One of the highlights of visiting my boyfriend in Princeton.“
“My first time here and i cannot wait to come back. i was so torn on what to get but went with the hot honey wrap which did not disappoint. my friend got the fried chicken which was cooked to perfection! can’t wait to come back to try more food!“
“As an expat Manhattanite who has been lucky enough to visit some of NYC's finest restaurants, I always tread carefully into what my friends have called a "great" suburban restaurant, as I have been disappointed too many times. Blue Bottle Cafe had the typical Hopewell-Princeton feel, an old home converted into a restaurant with several rooms, adored with a few interesting oil paintings. The first disappointment was a wait staff with no personality, no panache and no class. The hostess/wait person sat us, after some confusion as to where to put us, and then pulled out a pen and asked if we were ready to order or wanted more time, much the way a short order cook would. When we asked for tap water without ice (when will suburban restaurants start doing the smart thing, and simply put down a large carafe of water (NO ICE) on the table, so we don't have to keep asking for refills nor do we have to deal with freezing, too-cold-to sip water?) we were simply ignored. At this point, I was thinking, this is not going to be anything special. But then...the food arrived. My friend and I shared a stupendous Brussels sprouts starter, cold, crunchy and touched off by some white, cream-like sauce that was a slice of heaven. The bread, which I am told comes from a local bread company (also, the bread at a restaurant speaks volumes of both care and quality of owner/chef) was rustic, flavorful and served with already softened butter (a nice touch). My main, crispy scallops, were silky tender and mouth-wateringly tasty. And the chocolate profiteroles for dessert managed to taste decadent and light at the same time. To the owners, I say this: please take the ice out of your water, and find a way to re-train your staff. They do not measure up to the elegance and quality of your food.“
