“I hadn't been there in a long time. We were seated right away and our order taken when we were ready. A wide variety for appetizers and main courses. Warning... I asked for a bowl of the tomato basil thinking it would be a little bigger than the cup. I was wrong... It was a lot bigger (which is a good thing). The food arrived in a timely fashion exactly how it was ordered and very good. Serving size was decent enough that everyone took something home (I think the soup did me in). Anyway, I highly recommend going there with the family or just for two.“
“It's a kickback relaxed atmosphere. Very attentive service. Food is superherb.It was a packed house when I was there for dinner. Surf and turf steak was a little bit more cooked.My server came back with a perfect medium rare!I've read a few of these comments ,with people having issues with their quantity or quality of their food. They said they were TIRED, or didn't want to BOTHER with the issue.Well, that's on you Sparky! “Royce BrookSimply put: The Restaurant at Royce Brook provides a pleasant dining experience in a beautiful venue, without a lot of frills. The Restaurant at Royce Brook is casual dining with a compact menu: I'm careful not to say limited, because there is something for everybody, and in terms of value, satisfaction, and presentation it checks all the boxes. Rather than an extensive menu the kitchen here has gone for popular items that leave you pleased you chose to come in. My wife had a burger, and she was quite pleased she picked it: it was tasty and was filling. I had a Tuscan Chicken Wrap that featured varied flavors of peppers and sauce, and, again, was satisfying. During our visit there was one young lady who served both as bartender and server: she was quite pleasant and up to the task. We were never left wanting for service.The dining room is bright and airy, and nicely maintained. There was not much of a crowd, but sound levels were good for conversation. There is ample parking. My wife said the Ladies Room was clean and well maintained, while I noted that the Men's Room could use some servicing, it should be noted that the club was very busy, it being a spectacularly beautiful day for golf.We've passed Royce Brook many times, and heard from several people that we should plan to visit. We're sorry we didn't drop in before now, but we'll certainly be back. In the meantime, for you, plan to stop in to The Restaurant at Royce Brook: you'll be pleased you did.“
“Tender Lovin' Grill is a great spot with a variety of dishes available! Food: I got a 3 piece tender combo that came with a side and a drink. My wife got a cilantro burrito (not pictured) that she really enjoyed. I really liked the Mac and cheese. It tasted more like pasta with a homemade cream sauce than a traditional Mac and cheese but it was very good. The chicken tenders were huge and perfectly cooked. As you can see in the picture, really juicy. Only reason for 1 star off is that the breading could've used more seasoning. Ambiance: TLG is more of a casual spot with a few tables inside if you're grabbing a quick bite. Overall, good experience and will be back to try more!“

“As an expat Manhattanite who has been lucky enough to visit some of NYC's finest restaurants, I always tread carefully into what my friends have called a "great" suburban restaurant, as I have been disappointed too many times. Blue Bottle Cafe had the typical Hopewell-Princeton feel, an old home converted into a restaurant with several rooms, adored with a few interesting oil paintings. The first disappointment was a wait staff with no personality, no panache and no class. The hostess/wait person sat us, after some confusion as to where to put us, and then pulled out a pen and asked if we were ready to order or wanted more time, much the way a short order cook would. When we asked for tap water without ice (when will suburban restaurants start doing the smart thing, and simply put down a large carafe of water (NO ICE) on the table, so we don't have to keep asking for refills nor do we have to deal with freezing, too-cold-to sip water?) we were simply ignored. At this point, I was thinking, this is not going to be anything special. But then...the food arrived.My friend and I shared a stupendous Brussels sprouts starter, cold, crunchy and touched off by some white, cream-like sauce that was a slice of heaven. The bread, which I am told comes from a local bread company (also, the bread at a restaurant speaks volumes of both care and quality of owner/chef) was rustic, flavorful and served with already softened butter (a nice touch). My main, crispy scallops, were silky tender and mouth-wateringly tasty. And the chocolate profiteroles for dessert managed to taste decadent and light at the same time. To the owners, I say this: please take the ice out of your water, and find a way to re-train your staff. They do not measure up to the elegance and quality of your food.“

If you call in they answer the phone with a positive attitude. Chiefs has a fantastic product and uses high quality ingredients. You can taste the difference.
