It feels like I’m being harassed by the manager Vanessa every time I go in there with my service dog, she checks my card his service vest and still gives me a hard time so I’ve just stopped going there…

Go in to get looked at by the staff and not helped!
My husband picked up a salmon salad for me. As I was 8 weeks pregnant I asked him to confirm the fish is well done. The lady at the cashier, who in retrospect didn’t speak good English, said it is. He picked it up. And I ate it. The only meal I ate that day, as I was working all day long. Shortly after I got a very severe stomach ache. So server I knew something is wrong. I called my husband to ask him if it was actually well done, and he confirmed the lady at the cash register told him it is. Right after that I got an ultrasound that confirmed there is no pulse and the day after that I lost my baby. I called them to ask how the salmon is made. The first time around the lady who can’t speak English answered and basically just said “yes” to all my questions without understanding. A few days later I called again. This time a lady who does speak English picked up the phone. She explained that the salmon is not actually well done. It’s premade and is put for a very short time in the oven. You know, that information could have been very helpful to begin with!!!! I wrote to them and told them what happened. They ignored my email. We were loyal customers for years. I will never set foot in this business again. There is no love and no care. You are not allowed to serve half cocked salmon to the public and put in your front employees who don’t understand English and can’t explain it can’t be well done!!!! It took me a few weeks to process this ordeal and write this review. I am still processing. I just want to warn ppl about their food, which is not safe, not fresh and very dangerous for certain groups of ppl, especially pregnant woman. I paid a very high price for your negligence. Buyers be ware!

Thought this place was okay! We got a pineapple coconut cake dessert and a key lime pie. The key lime pie was delicious! The pineapple coconut cake wasn't so good. I felt like it was a little disorganized in there like I couldn't tell where the line was when we went in but we were in and out quick. We also had a similar experience where the person who took our order was a bit standoffish. Dont think I'd run to come back here.

Outstanding pastries, cakes and breads! We enjoyed it so much that we returned for a sumptuous high tea that was generous that none of us could finish everything. Fortunately, they had to-go boxes ti enjoy the rest later. You need a reservation for the high tea so that the chefs can have everything ready.

A charming patisserie with a wonderful selection of fresh product. Unfortunately, a staff that was once seemingly entirely French had been replaced with a Spanish one, to the detriment of the experience.

All they’ve done is cornered the tourist market very beautiful presentation, style and packaging. Don’t get me wrong a few of the treats are good kinda hard to mess up sugar but man way over priced. Absolutely stay away from the macaroons complete trash. Otherwise if you want a pretty bag and box go for it!

Good vibes and interesting selection of patisserie dishes. I got the Ferrero Rocher one and was very disappointed. It’s a basic cake wrapped with some basic hazelnut chocolate and topped with fancy crème. It looks great until you actually take a bite. I’d much prefer buying a few pieces of the candy at the store

I’ve been a patron of this business since they first open. It’s been going downhill since. price increased while quality has gone down. For example, I paid five dollars for salmon croissant. see photo. There is barely any salmon. The so-called manager there is not hospitable. See other reviews for employee attitudes.

Must visit for pastries. They even have many gluten free options. The coffee and tea are wonderful too. We only did the take out but the sit down tea looks awesome too.

It was our first time here and we were not disappointed. The chocolate croissant was so good and the blueberry scone was definitely one of my favorites. Their lunch sandwich options are so good as well. The blt is so fresh and filled with flavor with the pickled cucumber and avocado. We will definitely be back. 10/10.

Lambertville favorite! Sunlit cafe offers exquisite pastries, aromatic tea, and incomparable high tea experience! 🫖🍰🍓
My sister and I had the pleasure of experiencing the L'Opera Tea Time for her birthday weekend. Reservations are required for tea time and everything was fresh and ready when we arrived. The variety of tea selection was impressive with ability to smell the tea leaves prior to selection. The table was set delicately and positioned beside the window with river views. The staff was friendly, attentive, and dedicated to providing us with a lovely experience.
The selection of savory sandwiches were delicious with the egg salad mini eclair and turkey and brie being favorites. The sweet treats were visually stunning but even tastier than they looked. The savory scones were fantastic and the tea-infused bons bons a perfect finale to our tea.
Besides their tea time, their lattes are a delicious start to the day with a stroll down the river path and the gift shops has a delightful selection of Parisian-themed items, perfect for gift-giving. I'll continue to frequent Chez Alice when visiting Lambertville and can't wait to try the Versailles tea time.
