My family loves the sourdough breads and plain croissants. We have stopped buying store bread. We are just sad when we run out on Thursday.

Had some great pastries on Saturday during my visit--a chocolate almond croissant, a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, and the masala chai spiced cake. All were very good. Croissant was flaky and had strong flavor. Pumpkin chocolate chip muffin also had strong flavor though it was slightly dry. Masala chai spiced cake was great. Very unique. Look forward to returning!

Chocolate croissants you’ve had. But chocolate dough AND stuffed with chocolate. You have NOT. AMAZING pastry’s over here. Run don’t walk. This place is awesome.

The food is good and they have options for people with allergies, which is nice (since I have a severe food allergy that normally prohibits me from having tasty pastries). First time I came in here was with a friend who is friendly with the owners. Since no prices were listed, I assumed their prices were very inexpensive since I got three items (a croissant, a cake, and another pastry) for $11. The next time I came in I was charged $7 for the croissant alone, so I know the first time there was special pricing because of my friend. It's a shame because I excitedly showed my mom this place, raving that it was tastier and less expensive than another bakery we love, and it's actually more expensive (but still tastier). I can't understand when businesses don't list the prices. I hope they've changed it since...and will also reconsider charging $7 for a croissant, if that is truly the price.
Edit: There is no confusion for me regarding my experience. However, I truly don't understand the response to me vs other people who left similar reviews. When I visited, no prices were listed. This is confirmed by another person's review and by the business themselves in response to them! I feel that my critiques were fair and the response to me is interesting to observe. No explanation is given as to why my first visit was so inexpensive except to counter that my assumption that I was with a friend of the owners was wrong. That's fine, and I'm happy that you're listing prices now, but...less happy with the response given to me vs other customers. I am someone who would have otherwise returned. Oh well.

The owners are the nicest couple and the pastries are INCREDIBLE. We had the pesto croissant and croque monsieur and will definitely be back for more!

Went back today since going about 9 months ago. The quality has definitely been dialed in. We got a Demi-baguette and an everything bagel that were perfect. The pastries looked amazing and we wanted them all but we were making a savory breakfast at home. Will definitely try the chocolate strawberry danish and some of the other pastries next time, which will be soon!

Excellent pastries but absurdly expensive even for specialty baked goods. They hadn't listed their prices anywhere in the store so I was surprised to get to the register and pay $8 for a croissant and $7 for a mini-baguette. Displaying prices is so standard that it felt a bit deceitful on their part
Overall: glad to have tried it but would be hesitant to go back.

Support this lovely local business by enjoying a croissant and grab a loaf of bread to take home while you’re there. 👌 Delicious and charming.

I can't recommend this bakery enough. I live in France and made a bit of an unusual request by asking if they would make a more obscure French specialty for my parents. They jumped at the opportunity and created such a beautiful version of a gâteau basque for Father's Day! My parents were thrilled and were blown away by the quality and taste. If you're looking for bakers that take pride in their hand-crafted work, look no further. Thank you, Justin & Aastha for your super customer service and high-quality creations!

Fortunate, we are, to have this bakery in Lambertville. Everything we have tasted is superb and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with limited seating. We almost always run into a friend or two, coming or going. We have enjoyed speaking with Ellen on numerous occasions and she epitomizes the perfect person to represent an establishment in the absence of the owner/head baker. At our last visit, Ellen suggested the Deviled Egg spread on a bagel (versus sour dough) which was like none we’ve ever before tasted. Seriously!Keith and Bruce Lampman-Perlman

I've never been to France, but I have lived in two of the "foodiest" big cities in the US for several decades.I've eaten a LOT of baguettes over the years. I've never eaten one as good as the ones at Lambertville Bakehouse.Get there early if you can, they usually sell out in the morning.Lovely people there too.
