Fortunate, we are, to have this bakery in Lambertville. Everything we have tasted is superb and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with limited seating. We almost always run into a friend or two, coming or going. We have enjoyed speaking with Ellen on numerous occasions and she epitomizes the perfect person to represent an establishment in the absence of the owner/head baker. At our last visit, Ellen suggested the Deviled Egg spread on a bagel (versus sour dough) which was like none we’ve ever before tasted. Seriously!Keith and Bruce Lampman-Perlman

I've never been to France, but I have lived in two of the "foodiest" big cities in the US for several decades.I've eaten a LOT of baguettes over the years. I've never eaten one as good as the ones at Lambertville Bakehouse.Get there early if you can, they usually sell out in the morning.Lovely people there too.

We popped into the bakery prior to going on a hike, so we could get something into our stomachs. I ordered a french onion bread and my husband got a cinnamon bun. Both were absolutely delicious. We are not local, but if we were, this would become a staple for us.

Our new favorite bakery - everything we have tried is so fresh and tasty - including bagels, galette, muffins, avocado toast, and they even have Japanese milk bread, though it’s always sold out when we go there. Welcoming and quaint ambience with terrific, knowledgeable staff -look forward to trying more goodies!
