The sand dollar is a Lavallette staple since the 80’s I remember going there with my grandmother. The food is always good, the service great the best thing I can say about Sand dollar is I go there often I get the same 2 or 3 things and they are always exactly how I expect them to be. Delicious.

Still, I recommend this place and would go back. The pancakes, eggs and bacon are worth it. I am told their breakfast sandwiches are great too.
