The Sand Dollar is one of the most popular breakfast/lunch joints in the area and is a consistent favorite of ours. Obviously that's why it's a wait during busy season. But the food and service is great!

We’ve been coming to the Sand Dollar since it was located in Ortley Beach. The best food and service! Reasonable pricing and good portions. We go every day that we are at the shore

It's hard to rate when just about everything was great, and one thing was bad. I ordered a huge breakfast and everything was great, except the home fries. They were just inedible. The worst I have ever had in fact. Most people agreed. If the home fries were improved, it would have been a top tier breakfast.
Still, I recommend this place and would go back. The pancakes, eggs and bacon are worth it. I am told their breakfast sandwiches are great too.
