This is my favorite restaurant in Jersey by a wide margin. Everything is a hit, but if you're looking for that perfect plate, here's the winners: Catfish, Turkey Wings, & Pork Ribs with Collards and Sweet Potatoes.

I placed an online order at 3:45p for pickup at 5p. I got a notification that it was ready at 4:20p. I don’t know why they prepared it so early when I scheduled it for a specific time. I got there at 5:15p & they had my food sitting on the counter for nearly an hour. No attempt to keep it warm. I ordered hush puppies but I received cornbread instead & the food was mediocre. Definitely not worth $40.

We had the opportunity to try there food today while at Jefferson hospital, and I must say, it was the BEST Mac & Cheese we have ever eaten, better than Gordon Ramsay! We tried the pulled pork/pulled chicken/coleslaw and corn bread... We'll be making a trip to NJ for another feed very soon!! Thank you!!

Had the pleasure of going to this spot today and talking with the owner, Vincent, such a friendly and welcoming person. The atmosphere was warm, and the hospitality was great. I grabbed some takeout with my dad. The food was delicious. I’ll definitely be back, next time with friends!

Yes the place would be fine if the roaches didn’t drop your food

The waitress came and sat down at our table to take our order. When she left to put our order in she sat back down where she was taking a break and
eating her Wendy's lol. The brisket looked like pot roast and was fatty and the Mac n cheese tasted sour. The ribs were also tuff. A waste of 60$ and time

If I could I would give this place a zero. Came here for my brother’s birthdays and worse idea ever. The food was awful, the service was sketchy and the entire time the host was starring at us, the drinks were even terrible. They made my brother help clean the tables when it’s his birthday. Just terrible. Would not recommend.

The food was cold the yams were burnt the Mac n cheese was sour the jerk wings was salty drinks taste like dirty soda

The food was terrible and nasty had no flavor and tasted like it was microwaved and some came out cold and the service was terrible she was confused about everything and didn’t know anything and she was not new and they messed up all the orders and they took way to long to bring the food out and the drinks tasted dirty and then they added gratuity without telling us and over charged us and they didn’t disclose the proper prices then when we went to check out they tried to charges us multiple time for a incorrect amount and when I corrected them they acted like they didn’t know that they were doing that and the food is way over priced. I would NOT recommend going there at all

Great first experience, looking forward to the next. Bread pudding was amazing. Ribs and brisket hit the spot.
