Acacia Reviews
What a great local restaurant in Lawrenceville NJ. Service, atmosphere and especially the food were outstanding. The scallops risotto and Griggstown Brick Chicken were absolutely delicious. You won’t go wrong giving Acacia a try.
We had a special family luncheon for 16 people on Saturday April 22. We had coordinated everything with Lauren, owner of Acacia. The menu was excellent, with Entree offerings that were of interest to everyone. The salads were great, and the 4 entrees offered were all outstanding, with great sides on the plate. Acacia is a pleasant restaurant known for its efficient and courteous service. The atmosphere is serene and airy, featuring white walls and dark wood flooring, making it a great choice for conversations. The noise level is low, allowing for enjoyable discussions. Guests can indulge in a variety of meals, including the praised calamari, oysters available for just $1 on Wednesday nights, and the flavorful vodka rigatoni. The restaurant offers a good range of pasta dishes and always has at least one fresh fish as well as steak. The oysters, especially the Wednesday oyster special, are highly recommended and considered outstanding. The restaurant is also BYOB, so guests are encouraged to bring their own bottles and tip well. Parking is convenient, adding to the overall experience. The food is generally very good, and the staff is welcoming. While some comments mention limited menu choices and a bland salmon dish, the overall experience is positive. The service remains commendable, and there is potential for improvement with more interesting entrees, such as lump crab cakes and the Red Coconut Curry (seafood), which have received positive feedback. Guests often find the food and atmosphere to be excellent, making Acacia a favorite local spot.
