A nice home style Italian eatery. The owner engaged with almost everyone in the joint and took care of us like we were family. I ordered a chicken caesar salad, the portion was generous for the price and it was delicious.
Always a good meal at Candela! Whether a pasta dish, pizza, burger, or other sandwich. Had a nice lentil soup today too. If you like traditional, unadulterated fries, order them here! Not steak fries, but tradition thick straight fries without salt or other seasonings; the way fries are meant to be.
Community sponsorship pays off. Candela sponsored the Lawrenceville Thursday night summer concert in the park and if it wasn't for that, we wouldn't know they existed. Glad they did because this is a great little business. We looked it up and went there for dinner. The restaurant is hidden from a prime street view, so it is easy to miss. Very friendly staff.
