Good was amazing. Hands down best burger ever. Drinks spot on and had the cookie skillet out of this world. Verchenzo was out sever and he was wonderful. So happy and can’t wait to go back!

First time at Charlie’s of Lincroft after frequenting their Bay Head location for years. The experience was 5 stars all the way around. Food was excellent and our server Heidi was top notch! Highly recommend the octopus appetizer and the NY strip steak. Both done to perfection. Not a cheap night out but definitely a special night out. We’ll be back!

I went to Charlie's on a Saturday evening with a group of 9. We had an early dinner reservation and were seated right away. Our waiter was such a sweetheart and I loved the chill yet slightly upscale vibe of this restaurant. Parking is pretty easy and if you prefer, you can also do valet. We started out with some really yummy fresh bread and delicious artisanal butter with orange peels - yummy! For apps, our group shared a Margherita Pizza and a Summer Squash & Roasted Tomato Pizza.

Finally, even though my eyes were bigger than my stomach, I couldn't resist ordering the Lobster Squid Ink Linguine. The linguine was perfectly al dente and there was a generous serving of lobster. I feel that the sauce was lacking a little bit of flavor and was a tad too fishy for my taste likely due to the bottarga.

I went to this place with a few friends and my service dog. The manager came over and asked if he was a service animal, and we said yes. From there, her attitude was incredibly rude and unprofessional. She kept repeating that we couldn’t feed the dog or let him on the table—something we never intended to do in the first place.

The way she spoke to us was uncomfortable and felt very disrespectful. We ended up leaving because we didn’t feel welcome. If you have a service animal, just be aware—this was not a friendly or understanding environment

My friend Cristie reserved a table for 14 people to celebrate our kids graduation for middle school this evening. 6/18/25 There was 12 people two people did not join us. We all had drinks appetizers and an entrée I had bought a pull apart cupcake cake as that’s what the kids requested
When the waiter asked if we wanted dessert, we told him we had our own graduation cake he said ok no problem but he then returned saying (who was very embarrassed, )there was a cake cutting fee. We said it was Pull apart cupcake so they didn’t need to cut anything we even had our own paper plates he said sure NP again
then he returned again and said that there was a dessert fee he was very embarrassed and so apologetic poor guy . We asked what the manager’s name was. We were told it was Rich.
Rich who was walking around the restaurant with an ear piece in his ear didn’t even have the courtesy to come and speak with us or explain this ridiculous dessert fee when
we got the bill. It was $48 extra dollars absolutely ridiculous on a $750 Bill just absolutely appalling behavior
Seriously, who treats local residents like that who does something like that this was not because we didn’t want to buy desserts. It was because this is what the kids had requested .it was a graduation finner for middle school kids !! Then being the coward Rich was he disappeared when he see we were getting ready to leave so nobody could even speak with him.about it
All eight adults were just appalled and said we will never again returned to this restaurant. We are all going to write a BIG review about this and to warn people not to go to Charlie ‘s
Also the food wasn’t great way over priced for chewy steak soggy pasta, and dry burgers
Fish was certainly not fresh
So I conclude extremely disappointed
and will never Return

I had my mom 50th surprise birthday party in the wine cellar downstairs which hosted 30 of our family/ friends. Let me say this experience was 10/10. Corey was a huge help from the every beginning with planning the whole surprise party.
The servers; Anjel, Corey and Greg (I hope I spelled everyone name correctly) but their service was 10/10 highly recommend. I have no complaints at all. Everyone was able to help with everything and anything!! I will ask and they will assist or figure it out. Our family and friends enjoyed the whole night. Especially my mom the birthday girl, she still talks about that night til this day!! We will be back. Thanks again!! You wont regret it if you book a dinner at this restaurant.

First time going here and the experience was great all around! I have extreme food intolerances and they accommodated that. I was able to have steak and fries on the grill with just salt and separate from anything else. Steak was delicious and juicy. Drinks were delicious too. And our waiter was the best!

Was there for wedding shower and it could not have been more beautiful!

The atmosphere was nice, the drinks were great, the food was just ok and not on par with the price tag. Little unfair to rate the service at 3 because our server was great, but the food took an unreasonably long time to come out, and the excuse was that a large party had ordered just before us. Normally, I would be more lenient, but I think I'm within my rights to expect more when I pay more.

We had our wedding reception at this restaurant and it was honestly perfect. Corey, the event manager, was so responsive and helpful throughout the whole planning process—super easy to work with and made everything feel stress-free.

The food and drinks were amazing—our guests are still talking about how good everything was. From the apps to the cocktails, everything was spot on. The staff was awesome, and the whole night ran so smoothly.

The vibe, the service, the food—it all came together so effortlessly. We’re so happy we chose this spot for our celebration and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, well-run, and memorable place to host their event
