I like Kinam food, but like many other Haitian restaurants, their customer service socks. My husband is African and they are always rude to him. I ordered poison a sauce but they gave us fried fish. When I called the played ignorant than rushed me off the phone. I am very unsatisfied, I don't know if I will ever order from them again.
I'm often disappointed by the Caribbean food here in the States--it is almost never as flavorful as what you get in the islands...I recently stopped in to Kinanm on other business and smelled the wonderful aroma of the food. The owner kindly let me sample some food and....my quest to find good Caribbean food in NJ has ended! Flavorful, hearty, and fresh, generous portions, too...I will definitely be back. The owners are friendly and kind...if you are looking for some good...
IF YOU HAVE NEVER HAD HAITIAN FOOD & YOU LIVE NEAR LINDEN, NJ, I RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.The food here was awesome. They make one of the BEST Soursop shakes(recommended by a local). And I must say the customer service was very good here. I appreciated the servers attentiveness to my sister & I with our random questions & inquiries in the must of taking orders and answering the phone.?
