“This place is super cozy and one of the best kept secrets on Elizabeth Avenue, serving Salvadorian food for the last 20 years. The buffet is really delicious with fresh ingredients that are replenished throughout the day. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The Pupusas and homemade spicy coleslaw are their specialty but the soups and other menu items are to die for. This is a true hidden gem and one that is a must for those culture seekers looking for true authentic meal, as if you traveled to Central America. Ask for Fatima, the owner, and she can walk you through the menu choices.
Parking: Street parking is pretty easy to find a meter in the area that is safe to park and walk from car.

“I ordered pupusas for the school I work for, since we were celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. The way they pack and organize my order was amazing. The pupusas are so big that I was able to cut them in half and everyone was able to eat. The students and staff were satisfied, some first time eating pupusas and some already had try them before and they all said it was delicious. Thank you so much 3 Nopales!!!“

“I had an amazing experience at this authentic Costa Rican restaurant! The service was excellent, and the main dishes were delicious, especially the famous "Gallo Pinto" (I'm addicted). I highly recommend trying their Tacos Ticos or their Casado. They also have great drink options, including traditional coffee and natural juices.“

“Delicious pupusas!!! The truth is, these pupusas are the second best pupusas I've tried in this area. I recommend them ? I give them four stars because the establishment has a super strange smell and could be improved. The horchata tasted different from the others I've tried, it wasn't ugly but it was different. But I will definitely go back to buy pupusas.“

“My husband and I went to eat pupusas today at this restaurant. Overall, las pupusas were good. Las revueltas y las de chicharron con queso were “like your mom’s pupusas” ( according to my husband). Great taste and not too much masa. The frijol con queso estaban buenas with the curtido y salsa. The horchata was okay. I just didn’t like the fork on my plate porque las pupusas se comen con las manos like a true Salvadorian!!
