“I have been to Mamma Rosa several times, so this deserving review is overdue. In a word…..FABULOUS! The decor of this BYOB is so welcoming and comfortable, with an intimate and romantic setting. The service is 2nd to none. The menu is not overwhelming, but has plenty to choose from, and then add in the daily specials and there’s something for everyone’s taste. All of the pasta varieties are AMAZING! We had two appetizers on special, a burrata with grilled peach slices and prosciutto and grilled shrimp with fava beans and asparagus with a touch of lemon. Both were to die for! For entrees we had eggplant parmigiana and from the specials, lobster ravioli with jalapeño peppers in a thickened, but not heavy blush sauce. Both were delicious, but the lobster ravioli was in another level, what a compliment the jalapeños made! We then had dessert and coffee to top off the meal. I would eat at Mamma Rosa’s daily if I could! If you haven’t been here, then you really need to go, if you have, I bet you’ve been back!”

“I was really craving something that felt homecooked but didn’t want to cook myself, so after seeing some great reviews, we decided to try this spot. Plus, I realized I hadn’t had pupusas in forever—so it was definitely time.

We ate inside. Seating is very limited, but the space is clean, and the woman who served us was so kind and welcoming.

We ordered the beef guisado, steak tacos, cheese pupusas, and cheese & bean pupusas. There was a bit of a wait, but the food was worth it. Everything was delicious and so comforting—the kind of meal that really hits the spot. The pupusas especially brought back memories of when my mom would bring some home (from who knows where, lol).

Next time, we’ll call ahead and order for pickup to skip the wait, but I’m so glad we found this place!”

“I tried this ice cream place with my 5 year old little boy tonight for the first time ever and was excited! My son enjoyed his ice cream, but I was sadly disappointed with having ordered the hot fudge sunday only to receive vanilla soft serve with chocolate syrup and NOT actual HOT FUDGE, which I was expecting on a $6 hot fudge Sunday. 😞. If I wanted chocolate syrup over soft serve, I would have ordered that. I had an infant with me as well and that's WHY I didn't walk all the way back up from my car with two young kids to see if it could be fixed. I'm not sure I will be returning or able to recommend this place to anyone else. I was surprised because I had seen good reviews on this business but for my first time to have this happen, that wasn't impressive or good at all. 👎☹️”

“The brownie sundae was really good!! And reasonable pricing. I should mentioned the ice cream is homemade! If you’re an ice cream connoisseur like myself, then you know homemade is the way to go. Our brownie sundae with rum raisin, cookies and cream and chocolate chip cookie dough was great !!”
