Good tasting pizza. $20+ for a personal pie is a bit ridiculous though. We would like to support more often but these prices are high for a personal portion of dough, cheese and deli meat. $10-$15 would be more reasonable.

Believe the hype! Tiny menu, big flavor. This is true Neapolitan pizza. Notoriously hard to get into… because they’re never open! Pizza was good but service was not on point . For such a limited menu ( and paper napkins ) there is no need for people to have reservations . FYI if you call for reservations no one answers and they answering machine says parties of 3 or less no reservations , but when we got there the hostess/waitress said that the message is incorrect and they don't know how to change their answering machine since it's broken . LOL there are plenty of other pizza places if you don't want the hassle .

Highly Recommend. Added to my must visit when in town list. Aquila Pizza Al Forno doesn't have a big menu. They do not need it. My friend won the bet, Aquila is tied for first place with my favorite New York Pizza. Everything ordered was excellent. Pizza pie to dream about.First class meatballs and savory sauce. They prepare all pizzas with homemade mozzarella, sea salt, and extra virgin olive oil. If you can't have New York pizza, New Jersey is just as good at Aquila.

All I can say is WOW. This place far exceeded my expectations in the best way possible. Aquila is very unassuming. You might not even realize it exists if you just did a quick drive by but it's for sure a gem. Small place, cash only, BYOB - cozy and amazing. The menu is small but you won't be disappointed with the selection. There is everything you would need. We started with a salad and the meatballs. The meatballs were perfection and tasted like something my mom would have made. We split 3 pizzas and these were the real stars of the show. You can actually watch your pizzas being prepped and cooked. They are taken out of the oven and immediately brought to your table. What could be better than that? I think my favorite was the white pizza but they were all out of this world. I can't wait to come back!
