Everything was fabulous from start to finish. I was not happy with the creamed spinach side but our waiter removed it from our bill even though I did not ask. Delicious from appetizers to salad to entrees.
Mediocre at best. The steaks which were listed as prime did not seem so. We had a T Bone and a NY strip. Very tough to cut and chewy. Not a very warm welcome by staff or server. Thought this was supposed to be one of the best in NJ. Not worth the trip. Could have gone local, paid less, and got better steak and service. Very disappointing.
This was our second time at Rare and it didn’t disappoint. It’s our new favorite steakhouse. Carlos and James touched our table and made sure our experience was five star. James remembered us from a prior visit and was able to upsell us, yes, I said upsell and I was here for it. James checked in every step of the way.
