Although I don’t like to eat the fried noodles and duck sauce Americans love so much, there were none. When I asked about that Jordy said they were making them. They make them fresh! The soup broth is some of the best I’ve had, also made on premises. Many good and reasonable lunch choices. Jordy is so knowledgeable about chinese food in general. It was a lovely experience. They offer complementary ice cream for dessert. The pistachio has no food coloring and it actually has pistachios! Excellent all the way round.“

“We were looking for a vegan restaurant to stop at about halfway through a drive from Bergen County to a shore point and found this place on Happy Cow. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were large. We ordered the mac & cheese with coconut bacon and the Reuben sandwich. Although we were full we ordered two desserts to go because they looked so delicious . We ate them later on at home and they were delicious as well! We got the slutty brownie and the chocolate chip cookie. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.“

It is always busy and filled with both regulars and Bennies, anyone who manages to find this hidden gem along the Route 35 bridge by Belmar, will keep coming back. It felt like being served a fresh home-cooked meal and you could really tell how much love and care they put into the whole experience from start to finish.
