“We were looking for a vegan restaurant to stop at about halfway through a drive from Bergen County to a shore point and found this place on Happy Cow. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were large. We ordered the mac & cheese with coconut bacon and the Reuben sandwich. Although we were full we ordered two desserts to go because they looked so delicious . We ate them later on at home and they were delicious as well! We got the slutty brownie and the chocolate chip cookie. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.“

“it has been awhile since I was in Atlantic Highlands when JUS was still open. I am so glad that I was able to stop in today. The Chia pudding was always a favorite. The pudding used to be served in a small cup by itself. Well now it comes in a bowl with fruit, nuts, syrup and then some .... it was delicious before but even more fantastic now. And sorry, no photo because it was eaten before I wrote this! Yum!“

This most recent visit I loved the Chana Saag (chickpeas with spinach & spices) Mild and had the Best papadam (gf cracker flatbread). The couple who has created & runs this North Indian style restaurant are truly welcoming, lovely, kind, considerate, and give the absolute best service! It is always busy and filled with both regulars and Bennies, anyone who manages to find this hidden gem along the Route 35 bridge by Belmar, will keep coming back. If you're bold, take their t-shirt challenge and eat an XL Pie to go home with pride.“
