The biggest problem about this place is that their hours are inconsistent. There have been multiple occasions where I call them during dinner time, whether it’s at 6:30 PM, 7 PM 7:30 PM, someone answers and says “oh sorry we are closed early today.” But the strange thing is that they are open sometimes at later hours and I’ve been able to get an order in. There is no consistency. The chicken noodle soup is really good so I would order from them if they would just maintain more consistent hours.

Amazing food! Love there braised beef noodle soup and dumplings! Wish they still had their jersey city location! But happy to come to this one to visit!

I’ve been here once in person but have gotten Uber Eats from them multiple times. I always get the beef noodle soup. The broth is the best part and they give you a good amount of fresh vegetables. The beef slices are well seasoned. Noodles are okay but that’s because I get delivery and it is clumped together by the time I get my food, but it is still very good. The soy milk is traditional and I love it. Desserts are great too !

The food was very good, but too many menu items were not available.

I ordered the braised beef noodle soup. it was the toughest meat and the most tangled mess of noodles. not to mention the seasoning and the spices didn't taste good at all.

Why would a place that serve classic breakfast items not open until 11:30am everyday??

Four of us visited and ordered 6 dishes in total, and several of the buns were still cold in the middle when they were served. The corn and cheese bun special had a wad of mozzarella-like cheese that was still cold, and the chicken dumplings had chicken that was nearly frozen.

Website menu is out of date -- one of the menu items I wanted to order from the website (mushroom and bok choy buns) was not available on the printed menu in store.

Ambiance is a bit disheveled, with products stacked on racks next to the seating area.

1st time visit at this store. I'd give this a 9/10 in general. Overall, pretty good! The Beef Spicy Hot Pot was extremely delicious, only if it had been less spicy, then it would have nailed it. Definitely will be back because this food is just too good to be missed.

Great authentic Chinese food. Was told on inquiry their style of cooking was from Northern China near Beijing. Great pork soup dumplings, fried dumpling and beef soup. Perfect for lunch. Delicious blend of flavors in all dishes. Small informal restaurant but I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Awesome Dumplings

After looking for a place for dim sum, we were super happy to find East Flour.

Space is small and unassuming.

Everything we had was great!

Just wanted to leave this review here to let anyone looking for malatang be able to find it here. It's on the menu as hot pot. It's not "traditonal Sichuan spices" but perfect for most people who just want a rich and flavorful Malatang.

The only thing on the menu I would warn about is that their peking duck bao is a sweet southern roast duck. While some people may like it, be aware it tastes nothing like peking duck.

This is more of a "takeout" than a dine-in restaurant. Most of the food felt like it was frozen and did not taste fresh. Won't be visiting again. Part of the restaurant was set up like a convenience store and had items out for sale, which made the restaurant look very disorganized and tawdry. For the quality of food and taste, it was way overpriced. Not sure how this place is rated above 4 ?. If you are dying of hunger and all nearby restaurants are closed, then yes do visit, otherwise there are better dim sum restaurants that make fresh food!Food: Shumai was a bit salty and the sticky rice was soggyPancake w.Chili Pepper Beef- beef was a bit tough, nor fresh and pancake definitely was not freshly made.Beef Noodle Soup lacked flavor and the beef was, surpise also tough.Family Spicy Hot Pot was okay- the beef was once again tough, but chicken and fish were fine.Only thing "decent" was the fried milk roll and even that was obviously frozen.

The price is indeed high, with 6 soup dumplings priced at $10 and small cold dishes ranging from $8 to $10. One wanton soup (6 wanton inside) is around $15 . Additionally, the small room size doesn't align well with the food prices, impacting the overall atmosphere.
