“The Livingston CARS restaurant was small, but it was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and chatted with us a little bit before we left. We ordered take-out, and everything was well-packaged and clearly labeled so it was easy to sort out the items for our family members. The food was delicious and filling. “The most amazing and delicious Turkish Breakfast I ever had. Not only in New Jersey area. I’ve tried lots of places in the Tri-State area and it’s definitely 5 Stars. Everything is homemade. There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.”

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone”

“I was hostessing there. The 3 owners work really hard to accommodate the customers, the tents really were a blessing to so many of them especially when it rained. . Lots of people enjoyed just being able to come out and see others and share a meal with each other. Everyone loved the food Especially now that Giuseppe has joined as the main cook. His meals can’t compare to none other as that’s what all the customers told me the other day”

“Livingston Bagel catered a lunch on Thursday for 20 people for my Mom #BerniceSturtz 90th Birthday! We had their man Abe as Mr. Everything- chef, set up and clean up. He was professional and charming. A gem. Ask for him by name! He was a two-fisted omelette maker. They were delicious! And appropriately priced. “I ordered ToGo with zero expectations with items Dahi kebab, halla noodles, Aloo capsicum tikka curry, gobi 65. All items are good. Dahi Kebab is AMAZING, didn't expect it would be that yummy. Curry is creamy, flavorful and balanced. Most importantly I didn't feel heavy in my tummy after lunch, so that digested like snow. Kudos team!”

“Trying a new boba place is lowkey stressful for me because I’m loyal to my usual order bad. I always get taro milk tea with extra boba, and I’m always scared it’s gonna taste like coconut in a wig.

But this place actually ate.

The worker was super sweet, my drink came out crazy fast, and the place itself is really cute. They also have a kiosk, which is nice because sometimes I do not feel like interacting with humanity more than necessary.

The taro milk tea was so good. Super pretty purple, actually tasted like taro, and wasn’t overly sweet. They got my less ice request right too, which I appreciated.

And the boba was SO fresh. Like soft, chewy, actually enjoyable. Not those little hard rocks some places try to sneak into your drink.

Good prices, good service, cute vibe, and really good drinks. Definitely recommend!”

“I really love the Regent Cafe, but for different reasons than the food. I had a family member in a morning program in the same building for several weeks this summer, and I was able to work remotely from the Regent Cafe at their big table in the back until it was time to take them home. I always made sure to purchase something like coffee or breakfast, but they never insisted I do so. They always gave me my space. As the days and weeks passed, we grew accustomed to each other, a mix of food prep and cooking and conference calls. When it came to an end, it was bittersweet. I felt like they had taken care of me, providing me with a safe space so I could keep my job while going through a really difficult time. I can't thank them enough.”

“Wow, this place was buzzing! There were so many flavors to pick from, and most of them were great. I tried the original tart, Dubai chocolate, mango, and Nutella, and all were great except the Dubai chocolate. It's simple to serve yourself, add your toppings, and bring it up front to pay. I'd come back next time I'm in the area! I don't have photos of the actual yogurt because it was gone before we thought to take any.”

“Ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries and chicken tenders. It all tasted amazing and fresh. Chicken was plump and well seasoned inside and out. The BBq sauces are well balanced and have a great flavor and complement the sandwiches nicely. I got my food to-go, they have a screen which tell you the ETA and also give you text messages. Mine said 29 mins but was ready in 20 so I was happy about that. Great experience will be back again soon.”

“I'd like to take a moment to recognize the *outstanding service* of this locally owned cafe. We have been in contact with the owner, Chris, to help us send nutritious treats (the most delicious smoothies in town!) to the heroes on the front line of this unfortunate pandemic at Saint Barnabas Hospital. My father's been fighting COVID and due to appropriate hospital regulations, we have not been able to visit him - the incredible doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, technicians, and support staff have been faced with not only caring for patients but being their bedside cheerleaders. I've gotten feedback from the nurses that the smoothies are a huge hit! Not only are they tasty, but they are extremely nutritious! There's a huge variety to choose from and the mechanism for ordering/delivering was so easy (they even attached personalized notes from us!) that we've utilized their services several times to help treat the hospital heroes. Also, of note, is their special attention to sanitary mechanisms as they prepare food/smoothies during this scary time. *The cafe has donated a tremendous amount to the hospital heroes as well, and for that, they must be commended and supported during this difficult time for local businesses.”

“Food was delicious! I ordered the wok glazed ginger chicken lunch special with hot and sour soup as well as pan fried dumplings. The entree was deliciously prepared with a nice sear on the meat and veggies. The fried rice was tasty. The dumplings were big and nicely filled, though the wrapper is on the thicker side but still great. Soup was great and lightly salted. Food was still warm after an hour drive.”
