“The Livingston CARS restaurant was small, but it was clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and chatted with us a little bit before we left. We ordered take-out, and everything was well-packaged and clearly labeled so it was easy to sort out the items for our family members. The food was delicious and filling. “The most amazing and delicious Turkish Breakfast I ever had. Not only in New Jersey area. I’ve tried lots of places in the Tri-State area and it’s definitely 5 Stars. Everything is homemade. There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.”

“The food is top notch. From the soup to the sushi. Even the ice cream is delicious. What really bothers me though is the service. There is a 90 minute time limit which I get but when you are rushed to get out by an hour that’s not right. Also when you’re hounding tables waiting to literally take a plate because you have nothing else to do that’s a problem. Finally when you’re coming up to tables and asking them for platters back because you don’t have enough supposedly that’s not good either. Last night I was hounded constantly. Twice I had people tell me to move my sushi to my paper plate because they needed the platter. May I suggest buying more platters. Love the food and yes I know I’ll be back but the service was ridiculous in your face. Don’t come here for date night because they don’t leave you alone”

“Livingston Bagel catered a lunch on Thursday for 20 people for my Mom #BerniceSturtz 90th Birthday! We had their man Abe as Mr. Everything- chef, set up and clean up. He was professional and charming. A gem. Ask for him by name! He was a two-fisted omelette maker. They were delicious! And appropriately priced. The atmosphere is relaxed, service is efficient, and it’s easy to enjoy a good meal without feeling rushed. The salmon box is consistently excellent, and the sushi and sashimi are always fresh and well prepared. It’s a reliable place for quality sushi and a great lunch experience.”

“Trying a new boba place is lowkey stressful for me because I’m loyal to my usual order bad. I always get taro milk tea with extra boba, and I’m always scared it’s gonna taste like coconut in a wig.

But this place actually ate.

The worker was super sweet, my drink came out crazy fast, and the place itself is really cute. They also have a kiosk, which is nice because sometimes I do not feel like interacting with humanity more than necessary.

The taro milk tea was so good. Super pretty purple, actually tasted like taro, and wasn’t overly sweet. They got my less ice request right too, which I appreciated.

And the boba was SO fresh. Like soft, chewy, actually enjoyable. Not those little hard rocks some places try to sneak into your drink.

Good prices, good service, cute vibe, and really good drinks. Definitely recommend!”

A week or so we did go back there and were greeted by a young man who I believe was the manager. He apologized for our previous visit and thanked us for coming back.”

“Ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries and chicken tenders. It all tasted amazing and fresh. Chicken was plump and well seasoned inside and out. The BBq sauces are well balanced and have a great flavor and complement the sandwiches nicely. I got my food to-go, they have a screen which tell you the ETA and also give you text messages. Mine said 29 mins but was ready in 20 so I was happy about that. Great experience will be back again soon.”

“Nana's is my go to place for sandwiches, back yard parties, and I hade my 78th birthday party in the new beautiful room. Jason and his staff did an outstanding job. The room is beautiful. “I'd like to take a moment to recognize the *outstanding service* of this locally owned cafe. We have been in contact with the owner, Chris, to help us send nutritious treats (the most delicious smoothies in town!) to the heroes on the front line of this unfortunate pandemic at Saint Barnabas Hospital. My father's been fighting COVID and due to appropriate hospital regulations, we have not been able to visit him - the incredible doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, technicians, and support staff have been faced with not only caring for patients but being their bedside cheerleaders. I've gotten feedback from the nurses that the smoothies are a huge hit! Not only are they tasty, but they are extremely nutritious! There's a huge variety to choose from and the mechanism for ordering/delivering was so easy (they even attached personalized notes from us!) that we've utilized their services several times to help treat the hospital heroes. Also, of note, is their special attention to sanitary mechanisms as they prepare food/smoothies during this scary time. *The cafe has donated a tremendous amount to the hospital heroes as well, and for that, they must be commended and supported during this difficult time for local businesses.”
