Whoever that kid is, he needs to fix his attitude. Imagine being at a hospital because u or ur lover one is sick and coming to this disgraceful customer service
Who ever that kid is, he needs to fix his attitude. Imagine being at a hospital because u or ur lover one is sick and coming to this disgraceful customer service
The kid has not good attitude, and the lady ignores customers. They seem unhappy with their job and it is affecting the quality of service of Fresh City. Very disappointing!
It’s bad
The chicken burrito bowl was good. The only concern I had was that you have to pay extra for sour cream. It is spicy so they should a least give you a dollop of sour cream on top ,
Me and my mom enjoyed the food during her chemo treatments
If there’s anything I can tell you that is that Customer Service is a dying art now a days . Employees are miserable in their jobs now a days and have no clue how to effectively communicate amongst each other while at work . Somehow this is projected to the consumer as if it is their fault . I think it’s time for a re-evaluation for those who do understand servitude. Attitude and Integrity is everything and if you work here you should be treating your customers with respect and respect yourself enough to want to show everyone that you want to work here as well. This was my experience at this restaurant in St. Barnabas Hospital Fresh City....
So convenient when nothing is open at St Barnabas and fresh, real food is required and nothing in the vending machines will do. Quite a variety of options to try. Grateful to have it.
The food is ok.. not the best not the worst. Remember you’re at the hospital. At least it offers healthy options.
Good food but not enough sliced meat on the sandwhiches. Prices are too high as well!!

Absolutely the worst place I've ever eaten. My father was in the ICU and we had to leave for the shift change from 7-8. So I would take my mother down to have a sandwich and pass the time. We did it 3 days in a row and it absolutly was pathetic. The food, the tables, and worst of all the employees who showed absolutely 0 f's about what it takes to work in the service industry.
The food is terrible and over priced and they never have enough staff to work efficiently.
Fresh City claims to provide delicious fresh food but they DO NOT. I have visited the establishment several times and EVERY time a staff person makes my Nappa Valley Turkey sandwich w/sliced Quinoa bread incorrectly. Additionally, they are always out of some food item. It is very annoying. Not to mention that their staff members are inattentive and have a slovenly appearance. It is ONLY because the hospital's cafeteria is closed, that I would eat there. If there were other convenient options available, I would utilize those options IMMEDIATELY!The St. Barnabas Medical Center should be ashamed to have such an establishment inside of their building.
For hospital food, it's actually pretty good. The hospital’s take on a fast food chain is sort of a mix between a deli, chipotle, and noodle place with noodle and rice bowls, sandwiches, and burritos in several flavors. The burrito was fairly good and pretty substantial, but not quite up to Chipotle or Moe’s level. The rice bowl, Korean style was pretty good with nice flavor and spice. It isn't a place you would go just for night out, but when staying at the hospital, it's a pretty good choice.
Very expensive. We call it expensive city
