Can someone please post a real review? This place has the most disgusting food I’ve ever had. Un freaking believable the food descriptions on the reviews of this scam of a restaurant
PLEASE DON’T EAT HERE. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THESE REVIEWS. They must be fake because I’ve never had such bad food out of a 4.8 star restaurant. Our whole order was an absolute disgrace. We order fried calamari, Cesar salad, spaghetti marinara for our 2 year old (whose birthday we were celebrating) and an arrabiata pasta for us with “fresh” mozzarella. The calamari was clearly frozen from a bag, the Cesar salad were mixed greens instead of lettuce, the fresh mozz were little balls like the ones you buy at the grocery store- 100% not fresh; and both pasta sauces were un-eatable. When I let the person in charge know about the quality of our order he told me he was not the owner so there was nothing he could do. He then proceeded to tell me that it’s not his fault that none of us didn’t like their food. And that this sometimes happens. UNREAL. How do you mess up marinara for a toddler is beyond me. Do yourself a favor and avoid this awful experience lowest food quality I’ve had in a really long time.

Our meal was delicious and the wait wasn’t very long for a meal that was made from scratch. Definitely worth going back to. Thanks

It was kind, the noodles were soft and delicious, and the sauce wasn't salty and was good.

Great food and nice cozy spot. I ordered the chicken parmigiana, minestrone soup, mozzarella sticks, and mac and cheese. The chicken parmigiana was well cooked with a crispy coating and flavorful sauce. The minestrone soup was warm and comforting, with a good mix of vegetables. The mozzarella sticks were crispy on the outside and nicely melted inside. The mac and cheese was creamy and satisfying. Overall, the food was enjoyable and arrived as expected.

Love their pasta! So authentic and delicious, the only concern is that this restaurant has small seating area. Other than that, the food is great!
Way better than expected! We live very close to here but never ventured in. My partner loved her eggplant parm which came with perhaps the best spaghetti I've ever had. I thought I've had fresh pasta before but this was clearly superior. The marinara sauce was excellent - perhaps some garlic (or something) in the background. I had chicken parm which was very good, and came with pasta and salad (with a GREAT dressing). You can choose from a multitude of pasta shapes and sauces. The servers were so pleasant and efficient. It was a few dollars more than our usual Italian place but we both agreed it was well worth it. BYOB was a plus. No bread was served, which I would have liked to sop up the salad dressing and sauce, but in the end we didn't miss it. We will definitely return.
Well, I returned. This was actually the fourth time eating here. Twice with my wife, one sub to go for lunch, and last night on my own accompanied by a half bottle of Cabernet. I had the make your own pasta - penne, eggplant, fresh mozzarella and meat sauce (recommended). And pasta fagioli to start. Delicious, as always, with excellent service. Good sized portion that I can't believe I finished. I only wish I had room for tiramisu.

My wife and I try to find the out of the way spots that make the meal a memory! We found it at Pasta Flavio. Flavio himself led us through a simple, straightforward Italian meal made with a desire to please. And he did. Order anything and you will be satisfied and you will waddle out to the parking lot with a smile and a plan to return. I ate mussels over pasta and my wife enjoyed the eggplant but it would not have mattered. I believe that anything on the menu would have pleased us the same way. Go, support a restaurant where the service and the desire to please the customer is paramount. We just don't see enough of that anymore, anywhere. GO!

I'm gonna start at the end, and work my way backwards. The tiramisu was the BEST I've ever had in my life! And my family has an Italian restaurant in Pittsburgh! Our entrees were exactly as we ordered. Linguine with mussels ( and clams added per Flavio's suggestion ) was exceptional! Eggplant Parm with al dente rigatoni was lovely! The arrabiata sauce was
perfection. The calamari appetizer with lemon and two sauces was so hot and a great way to start. The pasta fagioli was so home made tasting, I got nostalgic and wanted to cry. But honestly, maybe the best part was the way we were greeted and treated. Flavio is just adorable. HE WANTS YOU TO BE THERE AND HE WANTS YOU TO LOVE EVERYTHING! His wife, Gina, who is too shy to leave the kitchen, is the talented chef who obviously cooks from the heart. Bring wine (BYOB) and have a memorable meal.

Walking into this Italian pasta spot felt warm and welcoming right from the start. The pasta tasted incredibly fresh and full of authentic flavor, the kind that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. The tiramisu was honestly the best I have ever had, light and creamy with just the right hint of espresso. The owner came over to our table and his kindness and pride in his food made the experience feel truly special. I left happy, full and already excited to go back again.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this Italian restaurant. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food they were serving.
Every dish was full of authentic flavor—fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning, and beautiful presentation. The homemade pasta was a standout: tender, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The sauce had that rich, slow-cooked depth you only get from true Italian cooking. The dessert was just as impressive; the tiramisu was light, creamy, and the perfect finish to the meal.
Overall, this restaurant exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Italian cuisine paired with excellent service, this is definitely the place to go. I can’t wait to come back!
