We stopped the liberty landing Marina on our trip south, and walked right over to the restaurant. It offers outdoor seating an chic and well laid out dinner room. Food was on point! Fresh sushi bar made to order appetizers were quick and just enough.

The main course was phenomenal. I had the seafood pasta. It had the most unique flavoring and texture that I’ve ever had with seafood pasta quite a unique experience please stop in and give this place a try.

My son wanted to propose to his girlfriend while in town for the weekend. My husband and I wanted to help him make it even more special by planning a celebratory dinner after. The Feathered Fox helped us make it happen. It was a beautiful night with amazing food and service. Special shout out to Daiany, who had Prosecco at the table for us when the newly engaged couple arrived at the restaurant.

I've been to the JC location twice already since they reopened from the old location. The seasoning on steaks are delicious and the duck confit mac and cheese is the best mac and cheese I've had. The views are very nice and the vibe is great.

We had a fantastic brunch in The Feathered Fox restaurant this morning! The place is beautiful, with an outstanding view that made the experience even more enjoyable. The oysters and sushi were absolutely delicious, and the cocktail with rosemary was perfectly crafted.

We didn’t try the desserts this time — but that just gives us a reason to come back!

Our waitress, Bianka, was outstanding in every way: attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm. She really enhanced our experience.

My wife and I went there for her birthday. We are never going back. A restaurant that charges these prices for steak has a responsibility to cook it as requested, and correct the error, with apologies, on those rare occasions when they don't nail it the first time. This restaurant failed on both counts. A few minor red flags early on: They wouldn't tell us on the phone if we could order appetizers from the bar menu; the host(ess) station was empty when we arrived; they seated us at first at a small table in the middle of the room despite the place being almost empty with many window tables open. I had the tuna tartare; my wife had the shrimp cocktail. Both were just fine, if not memorable. Ditto for the house specialty cocktails. Despite these minor imperfections, we would have awarded four stars for our experience up to this point. However... We both ordered strip steaks, medium rare. You would think that those two orders would be cooked the same--but no: Mine was fine but hers was pink, verging on gray, in the middle instead of red. This may sound picky, but I think it is reasonable to be picky at those prices. Such things happen once in a while. When they do, the real test of a restaurant is what happens next. Here, they failed completely. My wife told the waiter that her steak was overcooked, and they made her another one--but this one was seared on the outside and nearly raw on the inside. When we saw this, we decided not to object again, but rather for both of us to share my steak and take hers home with us to cook to our satisfaction later. You would think that a waiter that replaces a steak for a customer who then does not eat any of it would ask why; but he didn't. The restaurant was attractive, comfortable and reasonably quiet. However, for the prices they charge, one should expect exceptional food, along with a serious effort to fix the problems that arise once in a while. They fell far short of this expectation.

The ambiance, food , and service is fabulous. From the welcome to the cheerio. Main courses are hearty and tasty and the mini desserts with coffee are delicious and great if you are watching your calorie intake. Highly recommended.

The place is a vibe and I thought the drinks were excellent. The food was a bit of a hit & miss. The wedge salad had thick dressing just dumped on top like an afterthought, and you had to cut your own salad. The French onion soup was a small beef broth with a side of a grilled cheese & onion sandwich. I thought both of these “deconstructed” appetizers missed the mark. The Essex roll was great, as was the burger. Crudo was fresh and delicious. The hanger steak was good, and avocado lox toast was okay. Kids items arrived quickly and were generously portioned. Our server was nice, but seemed new. Served the yogurt parfait without a spoon. Shortly after, the soup arrived, again without a spoon. Didn't think the kitchen could make an omelet instead of scrambled eggs (as part of the eggs and toast). Got one of the items wrong, but didn't offer to remove it until we asked. I had different expectations for service, but it didn't ruin our time. Overall, I'd return. Next time, I'd come for the drinks and sushi.

Terrible from the word go. Firstly I had someone call me from the restaurant 5 days before my reservation and leave a voicemail saying they would cancel the table if I didn't call back and confirm. Never experienced this before. Upon arrival we were seated by our server who seemed annoyed and just generally unhappy to be there (it was Mothers Day, not sure if that had anything to do with it), irrespective of the reason why she is in the service industry and expected to be cordial. Once we eventually got around to ordering food (waitress went awol) I ordered the burger medium rare and my wife ordered yogurt parfait. The restaurant wasn't particularly busy so I thought 20 mins tops. We got our food after another 15 mins with no word from our server in the interim as to why it was late. Fine, no big deal to wait for good food. Well my burger was well done and my wife had no granola in her parfait. I sent the burger back and it returned 15 mins later cooked much better but the fries were dripping with grease. At this point we just ate and asked for the check as we'd had enough. I eventually had to chase another server as ours disappeared (again) and handed back the check. Overall very disappointed as had great reviews. Service was simply awful and the food was average at best. Shame.

Really enjoyed my meal but didn’t thoroughly enjoy the service. We were escorted to our table by the person who checked us in… about 30 seconds later our waitress introduced herself then asked if we knew what we wanted - we didn’t even have menus yet!! So we asked for menus - then she didn’t come back until we waved her down a good ten minutes later… before she returned the host came to ask us what our names were because we weren’t checked in properly- meanwhile HE checked us in!! All this weird service didn’t leave me too convinced the food would be good but fortunately it was. The food was delicious but I’m not sure it’s good enough to venture all the way over there for that type of service again.

Restaurant seemed accommodating enough, however we had to wait over 10 min for our table even with our reservation and calling ahead notifying them of an extra person. There were plenty of tables open. When we were finally seated, they placed us right under the AC in 60 degree weather. It took another 15-20 min for someone to come for our drink order. When I tried to put in our appetizer order, the waitress told us that she had to put the whole order in at the same time. Normally this would be fine, if we had been advised and hadn't been waiting. Our reservation was for 7:30 and we didn't receive our wine until 8:20. When we finally received our food, over an hour after our reservation time, we found the appetizers were delicious, the entrees were lacking though. For the prices they are charging for sub-par steak and sauces, you're better off elsewhere. This place is great for a drink and appetizers only.

Medicore food and exceptional prices. Aged ribeye tastes like cadaver. plenty of servers wandering around yet service is slow. fettuccine is overcooked. Champagne is served warm. We came in with just 2 tables seated in the entirety dining area yet It took them one hour to serve food. The chef is taking a 30 minutes nap? Not sure why anyone would give more than 3 star

Had a date night here with my bf. Our host was a young girl with long hair, who was rude when greeting/seating us. So we were concerned what the rest of our experience would be like. However, we were blown away by the food. We’re excited to have found this little gem right in Livingston. Cocktails are great. Steaks delicious! They could do with more allergen guidance and training. I have a food allergy that can get very bad, and I did not feel my server was very informed on this issue.
