The food lacked flavor, and the garlic was not properly diced. The overall experience was disappointing, and the food was quite tasteless. I was rather surprised by this, especially for a Mexican restaurant.

My husband and I order the taco salad from here at least once a week!! We’ve tried to recreate the house chipotle dressing at home multiple times without success. We are obsessed. Great food at a reasonable price. Good service. Would recommend!

I really enjoy this place. Chips and salsa are great. The tacos are awesome! I’d recommend the Al Pastor, but I like the chicken and carnitas too. The Burrito Mexicano is a delicious beast. I always get chicken or chicken and carnitas. Nice to have a great Mexican joint in Livingston!

Surprised this place was empty because they really deserve more customers! The steak quesadilla was so good— the cheese was nice and gooey. The complimentary salsa they give is also so so delicious! I think the price was extremely fair too.

Service was great! My waitress was very nice and attentive. Definitely coming back.

Nice staff, catered to us with a toddler who asked for a plastic bowl and more chips :-) it’s kid friendly and they have a few high chairs!

Run for the Hills!
I’m not being dramatic - this place is outrageously overpriced and serves stale, tasteless food. The service was painfully slow, even with only three tables to take care of.

I ordered the blackened chicken, which was mediocre at best, and the rice and beans tasted like they came straight from a can. Charging $22 for that is an absolute rip-off! To make matters worse, my daughter ended up with diarrhea after eating their rice and beans.

I didn’t even bother taking a photo because it would mislead people into thinking the food was remotely appetizing, it’s not.

Family-owned or not, they need to seriously step up or shut down. No one should waste their time or money here.

Walked here after an unfortunate flat tire, happy that I came through though! The people were very nice and they even let me order something that they don’t usually have on the menu because it was an odd hour to eat. Love the guacamole definitely would come back!

I visited VIVA GUACAMOLE today after reading some positive reviews and hoping to experience authentic Mexican food. My wife and kids were very excited. However, after the first bite, all our excitement quickly disappeared. The food was terrible. We couldn't even finish 50% of our meal and decided to leave it. When the waiter asked if we wanted to pack the leftovers, we declined.

Shortly after eating, we experienced stomach discomfort and had to rush home. I don't think we will ever visit this restaurant again. In addition to the poor food quality, the inside of the restaurant appeared somewhat unclean and unhygienic.

Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Delicious food! Had the Viva Blackened Chicken and it was amazing. I will definitely be going back to try other dishes.

I just ate there alone at like 7.15pm on a Saturday night. Room was great and pretty quiet, service was awesome, I had a burrito and a salad, both of which were fantastic, free nachos at the beginning with picante, which was great, the whole experience was perfect and relatively reasonable, definitely recommend.

Best Mexican around. I drive 20 minutes just to come here. I used to live in San Diego and it’s the only thing comparable.
