This was our first visit, but it was will definitely not be our last! From what the minute we arrived we were greeted like family and yet, they asked if it was our first visit. And then the night was perfect! Our server was Ashley and she was...amazing!! And...she tolerated my husbands jokes! The service was above and beyond, but so was the food! It was a perfect night!!

The only negative is that when we asked for bread to go with the delicious pasta sauce, we were told by what appeared to be a manager “We don't do bread”. That comment was a definite turn-off. Bread should be available upon request.

Our second New Years Eve at Daddy'O. Happy to have a regular menu with tasty selections and not a fixed menu. Bar was lively, dinning area was pleasantly comfortable for conversation. Our server Charleen was friendly and had great suggestions especially the German choc cake for dessert! Family friendly for any size group.

We ate at the restaurant after another establishment cancelled our reservation. It was the best change of our trip. Our server was super friendly and accommodating. Our child is a picky eater and the server brough a bowl of peas without question or hesitation. We are super thankful.

Came here w my girlfriend a few days before Christmas. The food was great and the service was also great. I recommend coming here during the cold months. You feel like you have the island to yourself. We will be back!!

We had a Birthday to celebrate and so we are ate at their restaurant. The service was outstanding and so was the food. We all enjoyed our meals.
Great service and experience. Many menu options for all, including vegetarian. Food was fresh and flavorful. An overall wonderful time. Will dine here again.

Sept 2025 I stayed at Daddy O Hotel at the end of September. The location of Daddy O is good, only a short walk to the beach. The hotel provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and outdoor showers. But the best part of Daddy O is the staff- from the front desk to the bar staff to housekeeping and management. They all work to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Jessica, the bartender deserves an additional shout-out! I was at the outdoor bar on several occasions and the inside bar a few. She was attentive, friendly, went above and beyond any set standard, and even when there was no one at the bar, she continued to work and do things that needed to be done.. Mary in housekeeping was also the best. She, too, was attentive and the room was neat, clean, and tidy every day. The hotel manager, John, was attentive and took time to check on guests during their stay.
It's too bad that the physical condition of Daddy O is just tired and past its prime. The over-deodorized hotel (and rooms) don't cover for peeling wallpaper and overused furniture. Carpeting in rooms and outer areas and sofas and chairs are dingy.
Daddy O is an old hotel. The halls are narrow and the rooms small. The windows are sealed shut and the decor is mostly 50s plastic. The hotel is overpriced not only for the off-season but mostly for the lack of amenities and for any place in the hotel inside or out to sit in relaxing comfort. Daddy O feels more like a hostel or a motel than a charming boutique hotel.

Hi. I've had the pleasure of staying here at daddy O's and let me tell you it was fantastic. Service was first class. We enjoyed the Patio and rum bar. Dinner on the roof top was an experience. Cute smaller rooms, kinda boutique ish to shore decor. Cant wait until my next visit!
