Howard's Seafood Restaurant

Although the room and table settings were lovely, the NOISE LEVEL is uncomfortably loud to the point of not being able to reasonably hold a conversation across the table. For this reason I would be reluctant to return. The food was delicious and the service excellent, but I could not wait to finish and leave. I hope Howard's would consider adding some noise deadening panels to bring the noise level down. I don't know how often this high noise level is mentioned, but it makes an otherwise excellent dining experience extremely uncomfortable.

Shrimp in lobster bisque with a funny taste! No manager came over to find out why we sent it back. Never was informed it was BYOB! Service staff was good. Entrees were middle of the road but priced high. Never offered desert. Front desk person seemed like she didn't care. “Just sit down and we'll be with you”.

We love Howard's. Been regular customers for over 20 years. Normally we give the food a "5" rating. Last night, I ordered the Red Snapper special. The write-up on the specials menu was enticing. When the meal came, it was an ENTIRE fish. Head, tail, bones and all. I was taken aback. The presentation was a turn-off. The write-up didn't mention that the entire fish would be on my plate. I proceeded to cut off the head, tail, and all the bones I could see. Ate most of the rest of the fish, which was delicious, but I still found bones in some of my forkfuls of fish. When I asked the server why she didn't tell me that the entire fish would be on my plate, she didn't have an answer. I'll be back at Howard's no doubt. But from here forward, it is buyer beware.

We are so appreciative of the staff for extending our reservation due to high volume of traffic getting to the island. The hostesses were so friendly and accommodating. The food and service were as great as in the past. We will highly recommend Howard's to our friends.

Forr is ALWAYS delicious. Been eating at Howards for over 40 years. I recommend it to everyone.

Howard's has always been a go to place to enjoy a delicious dinner. The staff and service is awesome. I highly recommend. Enjoy!

Appetizers are over price. Bruschetta was two pieces of toast with a little mozzarella and tomatoes. Crab cakes were VERY disappointing, looked and felt stringy with no taste. Shrimp and scallops were good. I think there are better places on the island for the price and the quality of food. Our server was excellent. 

Howard's never disappoints!! Food was delicious. Service was great. The only small downfall is that it's a bit loud but it would not deter me from coming back!

Great service. Our waitress was attentive and nice. The soups were great, they were out of mussels, the entrees were ok. Very limited dessert menu.

Excellent seafood restaurant, with a great atmosphere. Make reservations early, as the place fills up quickly, and with good reason. Their Lobster Bisque, New England Clam Chowder, and their Deep Fried Lobster are TOP TIER! Definitely going back.

Great to be back at Howard's for another season. Great food, atmosphere and wonderful service! Hope to be back there soon and often.

Limited menu, price higher than average, service was excellent, good roll's and salad

Incredible food. Pricey but the quality plus quantity makes it a great experience. Just a little nosey.
