Been living here a long time. It's the best mexican food i've had in The area hands down.

The portions were very generous and the staff couldn't have been friendlier In every way and the hot sauce they made from scratch was amazing. The food was very fresh and delicious.

I feel like if they dim the lights a little and put candles on the tables it would give the restaurant better ambiance for dining at night. You would think you were at a high end mexican restaurant then.

We loved it.

I recently visited Agave during Taco Tuesday, and it was an absolute standout meal. The food was amazingly fresh and bursting with flavor—think perfectly grilled chicken tacos topped with vibrant cilantro, onions, and pineapple, alongside succulent shrimp tacos that melted in your mouth. The portions are generous, and at just $2.50-$3 per taco (like chicken, chorizo, or steak), the prices can’t be beat for such high-quality, authentic Mexican cuisine.

The atmosphere is spotlessly clean with a welcoming, colorful vibe—bright decor, wooden tables, and a lively yet relaxed energy that makes it ideal for casual dining. It’s family-owned and BYOB, so we brought our favorite tequilas.

Miguel and Caesar go above and beyond with attentive and friendly service. Paired with rice, beans, and those icy blue-rimmed glasses, it felt like a mini vacation. Highly recommended for locals or Jersey Shore visitors— we’ll be back weekly!

Went here this Passed Christmas Eve to give it a shot. Boy I was surprised. We were greeted immediately and seated. We had the Birria Tacos, Chicken Floutas, and shrimp Tacos. Food was excellent, the service was super friendly. The place was very clean. Lots of parking. I think we found a new Mexican Restaurant. Love this place and would definitely recommend this establishment.

Food here was perfect, I guess very authentic. Usually when you see Mexican people working in the kitchen of a Mexican restaurant, you are going to get good food and that's what we got.

Hands down best birria tacos!!! I’ve had MANY birria tacos in my lifetime and these are by far the best I’ve had. The staff are super sweet as well!!

Excellent Mexican restaurant. Guacamole fresh and tasty, chips thin, crispy and not salty. Dinner burrito, enchilada, quesadilla and chimichanga were enjoyed by all. No liquor license but if you bring Rum or Tequila, they have a strawberry and lime frozen mix to make your cocktail. Decor and outside area very nice. We will definitely return.
