Tucked away from the buzz of Pier Village, Beach Bee Meadery is a true hidden gem. If you’re looking for a relaxed, off-the-beaten-path spot to unwind, this place delivers.
The slushies are an absolute standout—icy, flavorful, and dangerously drinkable. Their tasting flights are also worth a go if you want to explore the variety of meads and ciders they craft in-house. Whether you’re a mead newbie or a fan, there’s something for everyone.
Live music adds a great vibe without overpowering the scene, and the outdoor seating makes it a perfect spot to kick back with friends on a sunny afternoon or breezy evening.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. It’s chill, unique, and a refreshing change from the usual Jersey Shore spots.

The Beach Bee is adorable inside and out and the meads pretty great too. The inside looks like a down country instagram playground and there’s a charming semi-covered outdoor area great for big groups. We did a mix of meads and cider flights. The dry meads were by far my favorite. Great place to try something different.

Had a super nice time here - very tasty selection of meads and beers, with board games + card games readily available. I really liked the casual feel, good service, and homey vibe that fit the beach atmosphere perfectly. Felt like somewhere that visitors and locals alike felt welcome in - highly recommend while on a trip to Long Branch!

We stayed nearby the Beach Bee Meadery for vacation and stopped in to check it out. Turns out they make meads and ciders and offer flights of each.
The flights we sampled were unique flavor combos for ciders, and were all delicious and well made. Like most ciders these days, they are fermented “dry” so none are too sweet. The flavors like Chardonnay Pear and Guava Orange really hit the mark and were delicious.
There is no food other than bagged snacks, but you can order delivery or takeout to the tasting room or outdoor courtyard, where dogs are also welcome!
It’s a great place to add to your beach visit or really any tome you’re in the long Branch, NJ area.
