“I went to this spot and had this massive burger, and it was honestly really good! The flavors were on point, and the size of the burger was impressive. However, the fries were a bit of a letdown since they weren’t cooked all the way and didn’t have that nice crunch I was hoping for.
The downside was the service. It took way too long to get the check, and the servers weren’t very attentive. Still, I’d go back for the burger, but hopefully, the service improves next time“

“Just FYI, I didn't know this. Since today is National Hot Dog Day, hot dogs are 1/2 off. DO NOT order online because the website to place orders is created by Door Dash and since that is a 3rd party, you will be ineligible for the discount. Call in your orders instead. Ordered lunch for myself and the office, called ahead to confirm hot dogs were half off, but they never said that online orders didn't qualify. Didn't think to ask because I assumed that the website belonged to Windmill. This is a learning lesson to never assume.“

“Clean environment, but rarely ever a Cashier. There's times when you wait for 10 minutes + and still no one until someone yells for one. They are more focused on helping Drive Thru rather than front of house which is sad.

Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs for young babies or have high tables to help with a stroller.

Parking: There's plenty of parking in the parking lot and the other lot is for Drive Thru and Pick Ups only

Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair accessibility, but kind of hard for people in wheelchairs, unless some Samaritan comes along to open the door(s) for them

Dietary restrictions: They show calories and ingredients for each item, but you cannot substitutes beef with beans or anything like that“

“Was there after the lunch crowd today 2/1/22. The place was spotless, the restroom was also. Excellent choice of burgers and sandwiches. My wife and I both had burgers and we both agreed they were the best we have had in at least 20 yrs. Grade A meat and the french fries were freshly cut and fried. Can't wait to get back. If you are a movie buff like me you will love the decor. The service was great also.“

“Coming from Montreal (Canada), we were in town for my cousin’s wedding and we were looking for a nice place for breakfast. We ended up at Town Bagels and Grill, not too far from the Sheraton hotel. “This restaurant's food was good, but the service is not that obvious or helpful. If you haven't been there before it's not known that you order at the counter then sit down and they bring the food. There is no regular table service. They also have electronic kiosk ordering which is great once you get it, but I walked in and the people that worked there just stared at me trying to figure it out. Nobody said a word of welcome or gave a hint of what to do to order. I wasn't the only one confused. Other people on line were asking each other questions, but the counter person just watched and didn't say a word. When you finally order they shove an empty cup and number at you. Then you have to get your own drink, napkins, condiments and find your own table. When your food is ready someone marches around the restaurant with your food looking for the number they gave you. The place is big so it can be a long trip that you watch them because you don't know who's food they have. If they said a number you could wave them over, but they don't say a word... Just march. The whole system is annoying, but could be fine if the staff just helped. The burger was really good, but if you did have a problem you would have to go back up to the counter and wait on line again to get service. It's like stopping at a rest stop or a place at an amusement park.“

When my wife and I were looking into non-traditional wedding venues we had some difficulty finding a place that provided everything we were looking for. As soon as we walked into Beach Haus Brewery and met with Erika, the Event Coordinator we knew that we had found our perfect space. Between the beautiful Ceremony and reception space, the delicious and fun food choices, and the fantastic beer and drink choices we were in love! Erika provided us exceptional amounts of support throughout the almost two years of planning, the countless emails that were exchanged were always met with professionalism and positivity and we can’t thank her enough! Day of, Erika and the entire Beach Haus Staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was picture perfect and we are still receiving countless compliments about the food, beer, and the space! “I could not find the words to express how exceptional the Proving Ground is!
My husband and I were looking to host an engagement party/surprise wedding to eliminate the huge, elaborate, unaffordable 300 person wedding. We toured a few places and didn't really feel like it was "it."
Following our tour with Ashley at the PG, we both walked out and immediately said "if you could take a picture from our brain this would be it." Ashley gave us every detail, provided us several quotes to work with our budget and was absolutely amazing in every way. We immediately confirmed our date, the menu and got everything under way. Since the restaurant has amazing views and a rustic theme we didn't need many decorations, but just some florals and a few things about our story.
When I tell you the day of was INCREDIBLE from start to finish, that would literally be an understatement. Every single staff member, and I mean EVERY single one was attentive, kind, enthusiastic, accommodating and absolutely wonderful, and not just to me, but to everyone at our party. They went ABOVE and beyond to make me and my husband feel like a million dollars!
Truly wish I could find the words to articulate even just the little things they did to make sure everything was seamless- between fixing the netting of my dress before walking down the aisle, coordinating the timing with the DJ, making sure the food was out on time + restocked promptly, the bartenders working at rapid pace, to packing up food boxes so my husband and I would have something to eat once we got home, they did and thought of EVERYTHING. We did have the beautiful , elaborate wedding because of the Proving Ground.
The food, cocktails, service, delivery, communication, and assistance is so important when planning a party let alone for 150ppl but to feel completely unfazed or concerned at all, it was AMAZING.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day so fantastic for us ???

“First time in this service area. First time having breakfast from Shake Shack as well. The counter was very clean. I have to admit I HATE fast food places that only have computer screens to place your order. I like dealing with another human being!
Food was fresh and perfect temperature. HOWEVER it took FOREVER from the time I placed my order and the time I received it. There were only two people ahead of me so I don't know why the long wait.“

“When visiting Ocean Grove, the Victorian Grill has come to my rescue more than once, as it's hard to find good eating places in the area that are open in September when I vacation in Ocean Grove. Lisa greeted me the second I walked in and was so accommodating and patient while I selected my choices. Tom the owner, is very congenial as well. Ordered a veggie burger, Madagascar vanilla gelato, plus a turkey club to go, to keep in my hotel fridge for dinner later. All were superb! You have a choice of indoor or outdoor dining. We enjoyed the delicious food & tapped our feet to the awesome music of a local band called The Fish Eyed Blues Band. We danced, ate, drank, & had a blast! Excellent, friendly service. Perfectly poured drinks with so many options to choose from. Although the menu is limited, the food was fresh & delicious. “I went there for supporting a friend’s performance. He’s in the band & he’s playing that night. First time for me there, I thought it’s just for show performance. So I had dinner at the restaurant across the street. Therefore I cannot comment the food or service there, so don’t refer to that part. Just based on the atmosphere there & so many people crowded in, I believe the food & service must at least worth 4-star. Hahaha. We apparently were supposed to get an appetizer to get something for free, but the lady who was serving us forgot to ask, but she was so kind and didn't charge us for that. The food was really good, my only problem about it though is I wish they gave the kids more food. The food options aren't my big concern, it's the amount of food, I feel as though that won't fill them up enough.
