We had a great dining experience. Our waitress was so helpful with suggestions and attentive. She suggested the tuna pizza for an appetizer and it did not disappoint. Our entrees were plenty big and the brownie sundae along with fresh brewed coffee were spot on! I would definitely recommend and return.

Whenever I return to Monmouth County Charley's Ocean Grill is a must. The food is very tasty, the service is great and the price is right! And by the way it's across the street from the Atlantic Ocean! What more could you ask for in a great place to eat and visit with friends!

At best run of the mill seafood. Heavy on the seasoning, light on creativity. The service was more of an issue. Long waits, had to get up to get our silverware after we were served, forgot other requests like ketchup for fries. No real reason to go back.

We dined outdoors on Charlie's covered deck. The breeze from the ocean was delightful. Our party of 4 enjoyed 3 different appetizers and 2 of the specials, and all were interesting, well prepared and delicious. The black bass risotto was remarkably good. We also shared 3 different desserts, and these were great as well. Service was friendly, timely and professional. A wonderful dinner.

My wife had the shrimp tacos and she liked them. My daughter had the lobster tacos and she liked them too. I had the salmon. It was good as was the rice but the vegetable, edamame? Was inedible. It was hard as a rock. They replaced it with broccoli. Also had the key lime pie. It was okay. The key lime pie we bought at Costco was much better

Came for dinner after our day at the beach and it was perfect! We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed some delicious crab and artichoke dip, day boat scallops entree & chicken bacon ranch flatbread. The mermaid water drink was delicious too!
