Chupacabra Taqueria & Cantina

When reviewing their menu, we saw Birria Tacos and were immediately committed. Upon arrival we were a little alarmed that there was nobody in the restaurant! There are 2 other attached venues by same owners which had customers. But the lack of patrons was a bit of a red flag.

Our service started out with our server, Austin, telling us the drinks we wanted from the on-line menu were no longer available. But they tried to make a smoked cocktail for us first and realized they were out of smoker chips. Our large party of 8 mostly ordered Margaritas, which were decent and discounted on Tuesdays.

We ordered food including Nachos, Quacamole, Quesabirria and Birria tacos, as well as fish tacos and al pastor. The food was fresh and excellent!

We had a visit from an owner/manager as well as the chef. The staff helped us get the Phillies game on the table-side TV.

Overall, the highlight of the night was definitely the Birria, whose consommé was rich, flavorful and not greasy like some. Also the cheese level on the tacos was perfect, the meat was tender and flavorful and the fresh cilantro really made it all pop.

The second best feature of our visit was definitely the service.

My phone battery died before I could get pics of food, but the space is cool.

We had absolutely amazing service, food, and experience for our party of 8. Austin was an incredible server and bartender and the whole team took phenomenal care to make our dinner so fantastic. $5 margaritas were delicious, Birria was perfect, empanadas blew us away, and service again was a 20/10.

Had been here with my friends for dinner. The food was good. Drinks were also awesome!!! The server lady was so cheerful. Enjoyed the ambiance a lot. Totally recommended!!!

My family had the most amazing dinner tonight! Chicken Tostadas, Quesabirria, Asada steak tacos followed by dessert, which was the churros!! Everything was fresh, hot and the service was great!

Wow, what a pleasant surprise. The food was great and not a fortuen. Drinks and service were good. I gave it a 4 bc I hate drinking from plastic cups, but think I have to bc of the rocks, and the train that came by was loud, but only for a few seconds. There was a guy singing country music. He was amazing. It just was a nice breathe of fresh air kinda place

The food here is delicious and fresh! The Mexican shrimp cocktail and fish tacos are my favorite. They were only outdoors last year but now have indoor seating too.

Service was very slow and took an hour to get our food. It was completely empty and you don't even get chips and salsa to start, instead you have to start with chips and guac for $15 what a rip off. And once the food came out everyone's meals were extremely bland and dull and lacked the seasonings and love that should be put into these dishes. The grilled chicken tasted like dishwater and the rice and beans tasted, smelled, and looked canned. The brisket tacos lacked flavors and was just wet sloppy meat in a tortilla. Absolutely disappointed. Don't come here go elsewhere.

An expansion of Jack's Goal Line Stand operating after hours within Richard's deli.Just as amazing as you would think would be. You have to come and see this.
