I love this place! Really cute atmosphere if you want to eat in, but I usually order take out. Everything I've had from here has been great ?. Some of my favorites are the pulled chicken chimichangas and carnitas tacos. Today I tried the tacos al pastor... Holy Cow they were good! Everything is so fresh. They just launched online ordering, which is really nice. I might have to go back tomorrow! Try it out and let me know what you think

Best Mexican food I've ever had. Super authentic. It was my first time in Long Branch and a coworker recommended this place. Absolutely did not disappoint. Chips and salsa aren't free but food is fresh and made to order. They have Jarritos soda which is a plus. Tamarind is my favorite. We started with some chips, salsa, and guacamole. The guacamole was so good we asked for more, and our server told us that they ran out of avocados! Bummer, but at least you know they're making everything from scratch. I had cheese enchiladas in red ranchero sauce. It came with refried beans, Spanish rice, and a little salad. Delicious. We finished with coffee and a tres leches cake to share. Perfect from beginning to end. If we're ever back in the area, we will definitely return.

We decided to come here after hearing some good things. We got the chips and guac, steak chimichanga, and steak tostadas. Everything was AMAZING. Very authentic Mexican food. The chimichanga sauce was delicious and the guac sooo creamy. We will definitely be back.

I chose to come to this restaurant because I was out with a friend who I hadn't seen in a long time, and I was looking for a nice spot for us to have lunch. I had heard lots of good things about El Rancho, and once I was finally able to try it, I have to admit that it exceeded my expectations! The drinks tasted deliciously fresh, I got the Horchata! The appetizer nachos were well seasoned, as were the salsas! I love that they offer a mild green sauce, and a spicy orange sauce for those who prefer spicier dips. This place is cozy and exceptionally clean, and I felt very welcome to be there. I was waited by an awesome waitress named Reina, who worked quick and always knew what she was doing. Not to mention Aracely, whom I congratulated for making the amazing food. I ordered a Torta de Milanesa de Pollo, with everything on it. Let me tell, it did NOT disappoint. The beans, the jalapeños, the mayo, the bread, the avocado! It all blended very nicely. For dessert I ordered the churros which seemed to be filled with a layer of sweet caramel, and my friend ordered a delicious flan with a cherry on top. By the end of our visit, we were stuffed but we didn't want to leave! All this to say, we were extremely pleased, and we will definitely be coming back!Parking: This place is close to a train station, therefore it's extremely easy to find a place to park your car for free.

Bad service, I called and ordered 5 tacos, I arrive and they charge me more than 30 including a small soda (jarrito) and they tell me that each order of 3 tacos is worth 17, why didn't you say it when I called and they would have added the other taco to me both orders, terrible service, and very bad al pastor tacos, I don't recommend them

Okay. So, you want something a little more upscale than Taco Bell but you've been Chipotle'd to death, and in the mood for something that's more authentic than Chili's but still comfortably familiar. So, you come to the cozy confines of El Rancho Mexican Restaurant. The Tex-Mex eatery across the street from a train station and snug between a pizza place, Dunkin' Donuts, and a Chinese takeout spot. I feel this kind of location is the secret for good things to come. Coming inside, you find an intimate and decorated in charmingly tacky sets of chairs and tables with carvings and so much color, you do appreciate the quiet that takes over and you feel just so comfortable. Service is almost immediate. You're not getting a margarita here, sadly, but a lime Jarritos will suffice. A menu of familiar dishes is presented; tacos, nachos, burritos, enchiladas, empanadas, quesadillas, and even the humble chips n' salsa. The nachos aren't bad, made with real cheese and not the paint so many other places use. But, might I suggest the chorizo enchiladas with green sauce. Absolutely delicious, served with rice and refried beans, and I get a side of hot sauce (not from a bottle, but from a dish with a tiny spoon) with it as it adds heat and flavor. The whole meal can be enjoyed quietly and is a fine spot for a first date or just a spot of peace during a snack as I've often done. Afterwards, I've feel I've eaten real food which is a sensation sadly lost in the vast array of Mexican restaurant franchises. One of my favorite summer haunts but is good any time of the year (save for Mondays, when they're closed) A five-star dive for genuine comfort Tex-Mex delights, check it out. (I write 5-star reviews and ONLY 5-star reviews)

This restaurant is a hidden gem! We went for dinner last night and already can't wait to go again. Silvia recommended her favorites, we listened and were so impressed! The food was authentic and delicious, the ambience was cozy and filled with art by local artists. We will be back soon!

It is a small place, we were 8 people and we had to sit at separate tables because they did not let us join tables, the food was good and the waitress who served us that day was good but you cannot eat there if a group of more than 4 goes. people .Wheelchair accessibility: Not suitable for wheelchairs
